How about your keys? They can probably mangle someone's face pretty fierce.

If you are able to strike hard and fast enough that you are able to do damage with car keys, you might as well just punch and use your fists, theoretically.

I would say a shovel. They are tough, hard, easy to swing, and sharp at the tip. I would of tied it with crowbar, but those are illegal to carry in some places.

IMO, the best weapon is the spoken tongue. (being able to dodge bullets like neo is a plus as well)
