kirk is a decent at best guitarist. joe satriani taught him, but not enough it seems, he also taught steve vai. both of them run circles around kirk

lars is notorious for being a sub par drummer, listen to AJFA... the black album had like 5 good songs and the rest filler, those songs dont stack up anywhere near the first 4 albums, unforgiven is a good song, sandman is stripped down hard rock radio friendly sellout garbage.. sad but true, nothing else matters are blah radrio friendly songs... i have to admit i like the riff in wherever i may roam tho.

but vilot_hero... megadeth is better than your precious metallica.. thats all im gonna say... go cry in your little corner and stare at your picture of kirk

Other Extreme heavy bands would be Morbid Saint, Hellhammer/ Celtic Frost, Morbid Angel's Altars Of Madness which came out in 1989, Sodom, Venom, Possessed, Onslaught and who could forget the Brazilian band S a r c o f a g o who's music was dirty, fast, satanic and pretty juvenille at first, they also influenced countless of extreme bands.

since you were 8! wow, are you 9 right now? a person that listens to a lot of music usually goes from band to band listening to new things and dosn't stick to one band soo hard.. i used to be big on pink floyd.. i still think their great but i dont listen to them much really anymore other than the animals album bout once a month.

get off metallica and listen to something new, quickly you will learn master of puppets isn't the best song ever, that song is hallowed be thy name ( joke, but hallowed does still own)
