It would be sad if the TC still hasn't had a girlfriend since making this thread 5 years ago. That would put him at 15 years, which is longer than a lot of OT'ers have even been alive. megagene

To me, it shows a lack, and fear, of commitment. As you yourself expressed above. So essentially, in your frustration at a partner's possible lack of commitment, you throw out any chance you could have for a normal relationship, and engage in one that is based completely and utterly on non-commitment. I don't like the world "girlfriend", but if you mean a relationship, as in a real one, I've never been in a real one. If you're talking about sex that's a different story.
The first 12 years of my life is the longest stretch, but since I've started dating the longest I've been without an actual girlfriend is about 2 years (but there were hookups and makeout sessions in between)
Minus the years it took from birth to get my first, it's been a couple months since I've been in a relationship, which is the first time since I've started dating that I've  been single.
I had many girlfriends throughout High School and my first two years of college.. though, I haven't had one in about a year now.. and I plan on keeping it the way throughout my 20's and 30's.
About 11 years now. Last actual girlfriend I had was when I was 13. I have honestly been single so long I can't really see myself being in a relationship. Kinda prefer it this way tbh. Now a **** buddy is a different story :).

Dude.. Keep it that way.. I just hook up with girls now when I feel the urge, and stay out of relationships.. It's a lot more fun.. You get to explore and have fun with girls.. While having nobody telling you what to do, and you can strive towards your goals with all the free time :)
went on a dry spell for 3 years found a girlfriend then realize their are more important things in life than dating. I wouldn't know how to react if a girl wanted to date since I tell myself: 1 Corinthians 7:37-38

Figured it had to be a noob. He won't be around for long at this rate.
Now, over 7 years. And I want it to last until I'm like 38 and ready to have kids. Being single is amazing at the moment, but it's going to get boring eventually.
18 years, from birth to age 18 Then 3.. the past 3 year 26-28 (had 2 in that space).. IMO.. better off without em :p ill stick with the quick 'friends' .. less hassle that way
If we're only counting our adult lives (since age 18) then never, and I mean that quite literally. Not even a single day has gone by that I haven't been in a relationship in the past seven years.
lol nevermind, I just looked at the title of the thread. I'm married, so it's been a couple of years since I had a girlfriend. :(
