http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gj6gulcYeG4&feature=related Explosions in the Sky- Your Hand in Mine Easily the greatest piece of music I've ever heard combined. I play it through my head constantly especially when I play sports. It means that much to me. CleanPlayer

Great, great choice.

The song When David Heard as composed by Eric Whitacre and performed by Polyphony (a choir). I've never heard a song express sheer sorrow so well...Eric Whitacre is a genius. My runner up would be the song Sleep also composed by him. We've sang that twice in my choir at school and I get chills every time.

"Great Gig in the Sky" Pink Floyd

Though it is kind of hard to pick a song from Dark Side of the Moon, because of all the songs blending together.

Angels on the Moon by Thriving Ivory. Though Dig is a good song, it is definitely not the best Incubus song to pick, in my opinion.

Well, I dunno about "most emotional" but Kamelot's "Love You To Death" is one of the few songs that actually make me want to let the tears out.

For many reasons, Subterranean Homesick Alien by Radiohead.

When you are sad and lonely, no other song makes quite as much sense as this one.

"I tell all my friends/and they never believe me/they'd think that I'd finally/lost it completely/I show em the stars/and the meaning of life/They'd shut me away/but I'll be alright/all right"

It's hard to say. But really, I'd have to say two songs by Celine Dion: -- Because You Loved Me -- A New Day Has Come They are always songs that really fit my emotions well, and are very uplifting songs for me that have always helped me during times of hardship.

Fire Above, Ice Below by Agalloch. It's like the entire album, beginning with the end of Limbs and Falling Snow, and all of life's purposelessness exemplified by the album culminates in the last two minutes of that song.

Just recently I came across a song by Northern Conspiracy which is a band which plays at Mark Driscoll's church, Mars Hill Church, in Seattle, WA. This song is now one of my favorite songs and is entitled What Have We Done. I get emotional just about every time I hear the song. Here are the lyrics:

Oh my soul, oh my Jesus
Judas sold you for thirty, I'd have done it for less
Oh my soul, oh my Savior
Peter denied you three times, I have denied you more

As the nails went in, I was standing right there
As you breathed your last, I shook my head and I cried

Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son

Oh my soul, oh my Jesus
Judas sold you for thirty, I'd have done it for less
Oh my soul, oh my Savior
Peter denied you three times, I have denied you more

And the blood ran down, I was standing right there
And the water pored, I shook my head and I cried

Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son

As the nails went in, I was standing right there
As you breathed your last, I shook my head and I cried

Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son
Oh my God, what have we done, we have destroyed your Son

If you'd like to actually listen to the song you my do so by finding it on the list here.

Irrelevant but Mars Hill Church is right up my street (6 houses). Despite not being Christian myself, they are nice people.

She's by Ryan Cabrera

Been my favorite song for about five years now; have listened to it over and over and yet I still get the feeling like I'm hearing it for the first time.
