[QUOTE="dragonflame365"][QUOTE="skinnypete91"][QUOTE="dragonflame365"][QUOTE="-LegendaryLuck-"]I've been curb-stomped before, and if anyone knows what that is, they'd realize how bad it is.
I was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, in a rough part of the city, and I got jumped by four people. Turns out they were after my wallet (I didn't have mine on me) and when they found out it wasn't there, they got mad and started the beating. It stopped briefly when some people came running over to help, about 5 or 6 I think, I can't remember too much, but before they ran way, two of them held me down, one of them opened my jaw and put it on the sidewalk, and the last one stomped the back of my head. I now have to wear false teeth, and I have one glass eye.
I ended up getting lucky, turns out that if it would have been a more severe stomp, I could have been dead instantaneously. I've never walked in the city again, I drive everytime I go now. That was about 15 months ago.

Ouch. Ouch sobad. I mean seriously, that sounds like it would have killed you.
Anyhow, how long did it take to get back to normal (in other words, when it stopped hurting and you could resume your life as normally as you could)?
And did they ever get the bastards that did this to you?
It could have killed me. It took months to get the dental work done, but other than not, not a more than two months. Also, I am resuming life normally, false teeth aren't all too bad, and the difference in perception of one eye is an easy adjustment to make. They did get the guys, but it was only 3 months in jail, on the chargs of assault.
Even ignoring the teeth, you lost an eye.
I'd have at least given them 20 years for such a thing.
And this might sound a little insensitive, but do you have trouble playing games anymore? I would not know what to do if losing an eye severely affected how I play games.

Ultimate hell on Earth, however the emotional aspects have been far more difficult to deal with than the physical ones.

Playing games is easy, altough if I go to my friends house who has a really BIG T.V., like 50 inches, it's hard to focus on the entire screen.[QUOTE="skinnypete91"][QUOTE="dragonflame365"][QUOTE="-LegendaryLuck-"]I've been curb-stomped before, and if anyone knows what that is, they'd realize how bad it is.

Not cool
I was once running barefeet around a lake and some idiot had broken a bottle of liquor in the grass.
The glass pierced the bottom of my feet and cut some nerves or something. I couldn't feel my toes for some time, and still now my toes feel numb.
But that's not all. My dad after about 2 weeks of that incident, thought I didn't want to stand up from the chair cause I was being lazy, so he forced me to go to the store and buy stuff.
As I was walking and limping (sp?) he thought i was faking it, and went back inside the house. It took me about an hour to get back home. and the store is only a block away. Every step i gave felt excrutiating.

I agree, do you think its funny being stomped on a curb and mobbed and then being traumatized every time you go on a street?
When I get punched in the face it actually doesn't hurt much. Mainl;y because when I get into fights (Rarely happens) I go into a bloodrage and feel almost no pain.
Would have to be enduring a spray of Pepperspray about the size of a paper cup. That stuff is like death.
Ask why I was sprayed? My friends and I were ******* around. Stupid, eh?

When I was a young lad I was climbing up a tall bookshelf and needless to say, the thing fell down on top of me when I was 3/4 of the way up there. Luckily I only ended up with a scar on my forehead.
Also when I was a young lad I tried to jump to the sixth monkey bar at the playground. I hit the monkey bar, slipped off and was sent flying. I ended up landing on my wrist and fracturing it.
Hand cut off.
Being shot doesn't hurt. You body is in shock and that's it. It hurts after when you realize it though.
