I have had a few.I'm only going to say one in particular. My worst one. BRACE FOR SCENARIO.

So here I am, gym class of my Junior year. My school system has implemented this new "workout plan" for the students in gym class in my school. What it is, is we play some music while working out at various stations, all using either a jump rope, or these...

So we're doing various stretches, focusing on main muscles in our body. Arms, legs, back, etc. Here I am at the back station. We have wrap the band around our feet, and lean back as far as we can, holding onto the handles, in order to stretch our backs and legs.

So I'm working out. I chose one of the ones with the highest tension. Mind you, I am not athletic. I am not trained to use this crap, and our teacher did not give many forewarnings. That day, I was wearing my skate shoes (in case you don't know, skate shoes have flat soles).I'm leaning back, and for some reason, I raised my foot with the elastic band on it, in the slightest fashion possible.

The band slips off my foot, and slams me in both my eyes. It must have been going 100 mph. Possibly more. It is the most painful thing I have ever felt to this day. I keeled over, holding my face, trying to make sure my eyes were still intact, screaming "Call the nurse!"I ended the day, after 9 hours in different ERs, eye doctors, with a detached retina, and multiple cuts on my eyes. I later found out that most of the people in the doctors office were positive that I would not retain vision.

Two years later, my vision is fine. I still need to go back for yearly check ups, which sucks, but I am so fortunate that I came out of that with nothing permanent. So that's my story, how about you?

Fractured eye-socket. Was playing football and clashed heads with someone. I had a headache for a week and didn't think much of it... but then one night the pain was unbearable so I went to the hospital. Stayed there for a week because it got infected and swelled up.

Broken wrist, wasn't to bad, just had a cast for 6 weeks. It's such a weird feeling when they take the cast off; my wrist was limp.

I've never had a serious injury. The worst was probably when I fell off my bike and my toenail was ripped off. I mean, it wasn't fun but it wasn't serious by any means.

Im very careful, so I dont get many injuries.

I did once fall with my bike and got some nasty road rashes in my hands, arms and legs. That's about as serious as I can remember.

When I was one and a half I cracked my head open on a pipe. I still have a scar on the front of my head that is visible when my hair isn't too long. I am pretty careful and not a daredevil so that is my only major injury. I have never broken a bone since then. But I did jam my finger once.

When you played soccer year round for like 14 years many injuries are bound to occur. My worst ones though were probably breaking my collar bone my freshman year in high school, then cracking my shin after getting kicked in the same spot repeatedly in a tournament around my junior year. But by far the worst was tearing my MCL and Patellar Tendon in an indoor game my senior year. The loud pop it made when I got hit was seriously gnarly. It made me pass out at the time too. While I do miss playing soccer since I haven't for two years, I don;t miss the injuries. :P

My problem is that I'm not athletic, so I get injured in the most stupid ways. One time when I was young, I was outside and my friend called me and said he wanted me to come over. In a hurried rush, I ran to the seemingly open door to push it open, but it wasn't actually open. My hand went through the glass and I had to get 14 stitches on my pinky :|

I ruptured my eardrum once, it was a pinsized hole but it was bleeding so much I had to stick cotton balls in my ears the keep the blood from getting on everything.

I can think of two, one I hit my chin on the gym floor, mainly because someone decided to push me when on some scooter thing for gym class in elemantary school. And another was pretty much stupid thing I did like standing on a glass table, got a scar from that one. Anything else was probably just bike crashes and such. then again I can be rather reckless with some thing.

There was a girl that told me a story similar to that except it was with a knife, the girl is crazy though, she was like three and she was so happy she figured out how to use a knife that she slept with it and while she was sleeping she cut her heap open and in the middle of her cutting her head open and going to the hospital silly putty got into her head. The doctors tried to get all the silly putty out but they couldn't and so apperently there is a litttle bit of silly putty in this girls head.

Broke my own finger, right hand ring-finger at the first link. I have a shorter finger now, and a weird nail that grows out from it. I also sprained my ankle so bad that it sometimes makes me nearly unable to walk proper, without looking like a pirate  Most of my injuries have been rather easy to treat and have left nearly no scars, but I had a bad rollerblade accident once and got a big scar on my knee now, so besides these listed I've never needed surgery (well, the finger did..) or have any side-effects from them.. I was a wild child, so I've got my fair share of shallow injuries, but besides that I've been lucky.

When I was 8 or 9... I had a pin in my right hip from a previous problem... It was fairly large. One day while playing with some friends, it popped out of its place and shot out of the side of my leg. It was so painful that I actually didn't feel anything as I passed out from the pain...

Other than that I had like a "passive" sort of serious injury... When I was young I had cancer and stuff in the 90's to treat cancer in kids wasn't as good as it is now (though it is still bad, but was worse then)... The treatment killed the cancer but also more or less destroyed my hip (hence the need for the pins described earlier)... Well when I was 10, doctors proposed a large operation to try and rebuild my hip (up to that point I could walk, just with a slight limp)... Well the surgery was massive... It took something like 7 hours... Well 7 hours of anesthesia is not good... And my heart stopped... So I was more or less dead until revived... And then to add insult to injury, the surgery was worthless and I have been in a wheelchair ever since...

Yah groin injuries suck, I hurt mine from playing hockey back in high school. I was never able to get the burst of speed I used to before, it always felt a bit weak.

When I broke my collarbone a few years back. The pain didn't really kick in until a few hours after the incident. It was pretty horrible after that.

I vine whipped this kid in the eye by accident because he kept on whipping me with it so I grabbed it and whipped him back.

Mine would be when a TV fell on top of my head. If my brother hadn't been there I would have broken my neck.

getting stitches in my knee.

i was like 12 years old and me, my sister, and our friends were playing kickball. i had kicked the ball good, and started running full sprint around the bases. one of our friends got the ball faster than i had anticipated, i was halfway between 2nd and 3rd base. the ball was airborne and i didnt think i would make it, so i decided to slide to third base. as im sliding, i feel a sharp pain in my knee. i made it to third safe, was a perfect slide, well almost. my knee isnt necessarily hurting, its just like a dull pain. not agonizing but it was there.

so i figure, i just slid wrong and banged my knee on a rock or something. well i did hit a rock, unfortuneatly, it was a sharp rock, it was like a gray flint rock.. so im standing on third base when i feel something wet running down my leg. so i happen to look down and saw a hole in my jeans(i wear jeans all the time, even in the summer) by my knee. so i peer through the hole and see a nice deep gash in my knee. about and inch long. i was like holy crap. showed the parents and they decided i should go to the doctor. so i went and found out i had to get stitches. at the time i was terrified. but got them, the numbing stuff they used hurt like a b****. got 4 stitches. that night, i guess the numbing had worn off, woke me up out of a dead sleep. it sucked.

but yea thats the worst ove done, oh and i sprained my ankle running down an uneven road:P

Broken neck (4 out of 7 vertebrae) from black ice (invisible).

Rig jackknived and flipped.

Came to, couldn't move, could barely breathe.

No glass left in tractor - roof smashed, saw and jaws-of-life had to be used to get me out.

Left hand three deep cuts. Left leg broken and twisted up in the pedals.

Two orthpedic surgeries and intensive therapy, and I'm walking again.

I have never hurt myself, I guess I sprainged my thumb once, but other than that no.

I've even been in 4 car accidents, two of which had the potential of being fatal (if I had not been buckled), but not a scratch from those.

Got a concussion once when I was 5, wasn't fun at all... also I broke my elbow from slipping on a wet floor in the grocery store. I sure didn't think either of those were funny at the time but looking back I can't help but chuckle at how careless I was sometimes :P

The only real injuries I have had were a lot of sprains. I have sprained both my ankles about 5-6 times each since I was 13 and I have also sprained both wrists on many occasions. I was a real careless kid and I would do plenty of stupid things where I would hurt myself, of course I thought I was invincible back then.

When down a steep rocky hill on a bike without brakes. Got a few bruises and scratches, pretty lucky that i haven't broke anything yet.

Car crash a few years ago, 4 broken ribs. Kept me awake many nights, unbearable pain and I contracted pneumonia after my lungs became compromised. Broke my collarbone another time too.

I haven't had anything too serious. One time while riding my bike with metal foot pedals I stood up on the bike to accelerate using the weight of my body and my foot slipped on the pedal. I slipped off one side and the weight of my body on the other pedal flung the pedal and jabbed all the metal grips into my leg.
