Between the following web browsers which one is the safest?

IE

Firefox

Opera

Safari

Chrome

I think Chrome and Safari. FF is also, but people really use only for its add-ons.

I've never had a problem with Firefox, or any other web browser I've used. So I don't really concern myself with browser safety. If something did sneak through I expect my antivirus program would pick it up in a flash.

I've had a few browsers but firefox has never let in any spyware/adware or viruses, so I'm happy with it.

All of them are pretty bad by themselves. Get a firewall and use common sense, running linux or BSD instead of windows helps too

THat's largely down to the fact the IE users don't tend to be that techy and so click on popups and such.

aww man, I couldn't survive without my AutoPager. It would kill me to have to hit the "next page" button when reading threads on Gamespot. Much easier to just keep scrolling down :D

Never heard of Zone Alarm, but AVG works fine.

Zone Alarm was a bit annoying to configure last time I used it ( had to get the paid version to open a port WTF?) but it, and AVG are fine
