In all seriousness, I would suggest you speak to a counselor or psychologist. Making a decision to end your life is one of the few decisions you can't change your mind about after the fact.
That being said, I don't think any one person can say what the "meaning" or "point" of life is. I think that there are as many meanings for life as there are people.
I used to wonder about that all the time, and I suppose I still do on occasion. If I can speak in very generic terms, I'd say a way to find a "meaning" in life is to follow your passion. Using myself as an example, I sort of think of my life as having a dual-meaning. To take care of my family are raise some kids (which is I guess sort of standard boiler-plate). The second is to help animals. I don't mean even just shelter animals (although I do all I can for the local shelters). But ALL animals. Basically, I turn nobody away. If I see an injured or hungry "anything," I help it out the best I can. Raccoons, opossums, birds, squirrels, anything. When it comes to the animal kingdom, I turn nobody away. So, for me, that's the "meaning" or "purpose" in life.
I have friends whos "meaning" is to create great music. Others write fantastic stories. Others pretty much exclusively like to have fun (and create atmospheres where everyone around them becomes full of joy and has a lot of fun).
Again, there are as many meanings as there are people, in my opinion.
And again also, seriously, unless you're being sarchastic, joking around or whatever, if you are even CONSIDERING taking that last final step, I would really hope you would speak to a proffessional. If you feel like you are lost, or without purpose, etc........ BELIEVE ME......... you aren't the only person to have ever felt like that.
