I hope my afterlife lets me live in nature somehow and I can be aware of it.[QUOTE="LittleMac19"]Live, reproduce, die, return to the ground and become one with the Earth.The_Lipscomb
For some reason i thought you had a plant in mind. Being a conscious tree has to be the worst.

It could be.to make more life. you exist merely as as vessel for your dna to make a copy of itself. anything else you extract from it is just gravy.

that seems very accurate yet at the same time tells me i'm doing it wrong. i enjoy the gravy though.
no one says you have to reproduce.... but think how hard the billions of generations of dna which eventually became you fought to exist for you to come along and say "eh, fvck it".[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="Capitan_Kid"] Yeah but do you wanna die like a boss or a bum? The choice is yours. Capitan_Kid
So the point of life is pretty much to avoid being homeless and dying on the street. That's not exactly a high standard to reach
Well my analogy was obviously extreme but basically you either accept mediocrity in life or you rise above those standards. You gonna go do something grand or do something bland? And yet when all is said and done you end up as the same putrifying matter as everyone else. Congratulations.

it cares by making you care ( or not )Well you only live once (inb4 YOLO) so enjoy while you are in the spotlight and try to have the biggest amount of fun you can without harming yourself or the others. In case you want to smoke, drink a lot, and do other crazy stuff that harms you, it's all on you, but in the end of the day if you're happy and alive, you have to make yourself the question: "was it worth it?".
I lead a good life. I'm happy.
It's pointless from a human perspective.
I suppose reflection is one of greatest flaws, as well as strengths.
Life is like a videogame. Our purpose is to experience as much as we can and our ultimate goal is to achieve happiness. Our enemy is fear and as we conquer it, we level up, allowing us the courage and experience to take on new challenges and gain more happiness. Its pretty awesome actually. Life is **** amazing...if you learn to play the game right.

So? Theres so much in between time. Dont care about the endgame. Sir, the initial post clearly states, rise to the top or die like a dog. Im too focused on rising to think about the grave.[QUOTE="lostrib"][QUOTE="Capitan_Kid"] So? Theres so much in between time. Dont care about the endgame. Im focused on the journey, not the graveCapitan_Kid

You are way too focused on the death aspect of life. By your readoning, nothing matters. I rebuke such thoughts. Yeah, Ill die, but in the meantime, there's stuff to do[QUOTE="worlock77"][QUOTE="Capitan_Kid"] Sir, the initial post clearly states, rise to the top or die like a dog. I only brought it up three times. Once to correct an error. You keep harping on that part of my statement even though that part doesnt mean much to me. When youre at the top, you dont die like a dog.[QUOTE="worlock77"][QUOTE="Capitan_Kid"] You are way too focused on the death aspect of life. By your readoning, nothing matters. When youre at the top, you dont die like a dog.Lots of men who have risen to the top have, as you put it, "died like a dog" (or worse even). Look at, for one example right off the top of my head, Benito Mussolini.
