[QUOTE="Pearl_of_Egypt"][QUOTE="A_Tarkovsky"]Babel is problematically written, but impeccably acted.[QUOTE="Pearl_of_Egypt"]from what I've seen, Babel or Mullholland Dr. both are pure crap.A_Tarkovsky
Mulholland Dr. is one of the best films of the decade.
Babel put me to sleep. there was no point to it.
Mullholland Dr also had no point and was just plain stupid to me. it was incredibly boring too.
Babel's making a point about the tenuous connections between vast cultures that we overlook.I really didnt care for Babel, It was difficult for me to have sympathy for the non american charactors (except really the japanese girl) and I ferlt that ended up underminding really the emotional impact the movie was meant to have.

Babel's making a point about the tenuous connections between vast cultures that we overlook.Mulholland Dr. was more interested in emotions than themes. It's an examination of what happens to the psyche of someone who has lost everything, from their loved one to their dreams. That's why the first half is like a Hollywood noir and the second half is more realistic.
well I'm just really not into extemely slow paced movies that barely have a point :?

You don't like David Lynch. Lots of perfectly intelligent people don't. You get him or not.Doogal-Never before have I loved seeing the credits in a movie.
Mac and Me-An infamous 1988 children's movie, I haven't seen this to be honest, but I read about this, and this is clearly an E.T. rip-off, where there's an alien crashing into L.A., only differences is it's a family of aliens, the kid is wheelchair-bound, the aliens look hideous, and the movie shows the most shocking product placement ever in a movie, enough to make the works of EA in video games seem tame in comparison, and it contains a terrible ending. Here's a review of it, but be careful, it contains some suggestive jokes in it.

[QUOTE="GodLovesDead"][QUOTE="Frattracide"]What about Evil Dead? So bad it was funny.Frattracide
Evil Dead is the best movie ever.
Evil Dead is brilliant. Campy, cheap, but brilliant.[QUOTE="A_Tarkovsky"][QUOTE="Frattracide"]What about Evil Dead? So bad it was funny.Frattracide
Crappy writing, crappy editing, crappy acting. Just because it was a cult classic doesn't mean it was good.
Yea, and that's why it's 100% on Rotten Tomatoes?
It is only famous 'cause it was bad.
haha, but ash could kick all your @$$es
pick a saw movie. they are a bunch of stupid movies pretending to be smart. and they fail at the entire point of horror movies: being scary. gore by itself simply isnt scary. even if you are somehow scared of blood, you wouldnt be after the first ten minutes because they will have shown everything there is to see. LoG-Sacrament
Yeah I really don't like those movies where they just strap some people down and torture them for two hours. I'm not sure what my least favorite movie is though, I'm pretty easily entertained :)
I liked Smokin' Aces.[QUOTE="darksword1123"][QUOTE="xXBuffJeffXx"]Smokin' Aces sucked, too.Film-Guy
Same here.
Damn that was one of my favorite action movies.
[QUOTE="Bad_Mofo_Gamer"][QUOTE="Film-Guy"]Million Dollar Baby was awful, complete crap.Film-Guy
Yeah and Flags of our Fathers was crap too.
Million Dollar Baby was much worse, so terrible. It was very unrealistic too, women cant fight they have no muscles. Rocky 3 is a better movie, he pulled a truck through snow! Did you see any truck pulling in million dollar baby?
You wanna talk about unrealistic, there are no more Native Americans, there were all killed by cowboys and Pilgrims

My sister actually said once that she thought that women shoulden't be strong, so they can be carried by men. I'm not joking here, she actually said it. Can I say quote sigging?[QUOTE="Film-Guy"][QUOTE="Bad_Mofo_Gamer"][QUOTE="Film-Guy"]Million Dollar Baby was awful, complete crap.Fireball2500

I liked Million Dollar Baby, before it shifted into disgusting Lifetime movie-of-the-week territory.
As for worst, House of the Dead.
Borat.t3hrubikscube

Yeah....the powers were gay (A glowing chain? :| ) and I couldn't even follow the story.
And it didn't connect with Daredevil at all, except one scene.
That ticked me off.
Any movie with Uwe boll or Paris Hilton involved.megamanzero49
House of Wax had her killed in it.
That was a good movie.
[QUOTE="Film-Guy"]Million Dollar Baby was awful, complete crap.maximusmmii
crash (2004) was much worse.
Crash is probably the only movie that is as disgustingly underrated as it is overrated. Please Log In to post.
