Just surviving, and attempting to make the most of each day I'm given... Oh, and money is nice too, wouldn't mind having some. :P raven_squadYeah I wish I had some money too. :? Apart from my cheesy first answer I'm going to say music, games, movies, literature. Basic media in general. :D
This may be a weird one, but mine is knowledge. I'm the kind of person who likes to know everything, about, well everything. I will spend hours reading about history, pop culture, current news, mythology, etc. It may be weird, but when someone talks about something I've never heard about, I am very annoyed and after the conversation I will usually read about the subject.
Myself. it is all about self gratification right now. I want to eenjoy life. No plans for marriage or kids right now and I am still in low paying jobs until I figure out what I really want to do. I got 43 years before retirement, lots of time left.
At least he is pursuing something he loves regardless of the risk, that way he may be in a wheelchair, but with no regrets. ;)[QUOTE="Shhadow_Viper"][QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]
enjoy your wheelchair when your 50 :P

im pretty sure you'd regret being in a wheelchair at that age. "Hey honey, why dont we go for a hike...oh yea, you wanted to have reckless fun when you were young, my bad" his wife would say
Idunno, I look at these people who have suffered some sort of tragedy as a result of their hobby (i.e. the surfer who gets crippled due to sharks, the parkour who blows out both his knees at age 30, the pyro with no left hand, etc) and cant help but think they are A.) lying to themselves, or B.) completely ignorant of common sense and/or their future. Better to live a great life for 80 years than a crazy life for 30...
but to each his own, I suppose
and somehow I think he was being sarcastic
Nobody lives forever, you might as well partake in activities you enjoy while alive, anything less is selling yourself short. In my humble opinion, of course. Something like this is basically dependent upon perspective and personal value systems. I am sure I could live to be a healthy 100 year old if I lock myself in a rubber room and hide from life, but what's the point in that type of life? Not much to me... There is risk associated with actually living, I see it to be in particularly bad taste to insult those with the courage to pursue what they desire even with factoring the risks involved. But as you said, to each his own. Please Log In to post.
