Registered nurse with a BSN. I'm not entirely sure about what I will specialize in, but I am currently considering ER nursing, ICU nursing and mental health nursing. And I'm especially interesting in helping out the GSM (gender and sexuality minorities) community with my career.
Cop-turned-writer. I like the sound of that for some reason.I'm waiting to hear back from the U.S. Marshals service. Right now I'm a police officer, second grade in New York.
It's my goal to become a fiction writer, however.

[QUOTE="The-Apostle"][QUOTE="The-Apostle"] Not the way I write. Sure, I'm better at writing what I want but I can write what others want almost as well.iskeethuntersThe problem I'm facing is I don't know how to get my name out there. Everybody wants accomplished writers. I'm not even discovered. :( You should travel, or do something special. Meet people, see places. That's how you get inspiration. Sure it's not easy, it's way more comfortable to sit inside and ask for advice or write about what others want, but in my opinion that's how most books are written nowadays. I think the majority of modern books are trash. There was this trend launched in America somewhere around the 80s or 90s promoting average authors and their average books. I hate these so-called bestsellers and their authors. They ruined literature in my opinion. I like old books (currently reading Dostoevsky). In my opinion, a good writer is influenced by his life (that's why no great book was written by someone young - I might be wrong here though). If I was to be a writer, I'd go out more. I'd travel. I'd talk to all sorts of people from various places, social circles etc. I'd cross mountains on foot, go camping, volunteer etc. in order to have as much experience as possible to influence my writing and also to have a source of inspiration. It isn't easy, but I'd do it, because I'd want to be a great writer.Frankenstein was written when she was like 19 or something.
I currently work in out of school hours care (5-12 yr olds) but I hope to get into an actual childcare centre soon where it's 0-6 years and do my diploma in childcare.
I'm not sure really, ever since I was young I always wanted to work in the games industry but I'm a better writer so perhaps a journalist or a screenwriter, there was a time I considered directing as well.
i'm a safety supervisor for the largest oil/gas drilling contractor in Saudi Arabia. i'm right now in charge of maintaining the health, safety and environmental care (in the rig areas and sorrounding areas) of 5 rigs in the desert.
can get a little hectic at times, and i basically live in the desert for days at a time, but the pay is fvckin' excellent. so i ain't complaining.
flexible days off, but that's because i work almost 12 hours a day... which explains why i don't come online to Gamespot much anymore.
I want to be a biomedical engineer or maybe even a molecular biologist during experiments in a lab. But because of some serious health problems I'm having right now I don't think this will ever happen.
On the path towards scientific research or re-entering academia as a prof in the field of human physiology.
Backup is a strength and conditioning coach (sadly it likely would pay more).
I graduate in May and I have no idea what I'm going to do. Job searching and applying is depressing.Aquat1cF1shWhat's your degree in?
Right now I am working on a project in a lab at my University. I graduated with a B.S. in neuroscience in 2012. I will eventually move on to grad school and start my own research, to improve the quality of life for others.
what degree are you currently working towards? Because Im in journalism school and I can assure you, you don't need it to be a journalist.I don't know yet. I'll most likely end up a teacher but what I'd want most is to be a Journalist or work in Hollywood as a big time Director.
