What is your father's attitude toward Gaming? [POLL]

My dad strongly approves of gaming. He knows I want to be a game designer, so he encourages me as much as possible. He likes to here about all of the different games I play, and he plays a few casual games on his Wii.

my dad is really into PC games. He only plays single player but is into rts and FPS games.

I play COD4 with my father every Friday night, along with my wife, my two brothers and my brother's wife. My dad has his own 360.

I believe it was my dad or it can be my mom or both, not sure, that bought me my first gaming system and that was the NES. I haven't lived with my dad for like 15 years now so I wouldn't know his attitude about gaming now. But I think he would feel indifferent or have no real feelings towards gaming.

My dad was never too fond of games besides mario kart.

But my mam on the othr hand. She watched me play mass effect one day and she started getting kinda interested and before long she was asking me to play or if she had missed somthing then shed ask what happened. Then she watched me play resident evil 5 and she actuall managed to help me through some of the game. And now shes watching me play okmi. The next step is to actually get her to play the games

My Dad plays Cod4 quite regulary, he isnt very good but who can blame him at 58

He doesn't care about it. But I do remember that back in the N64 days he would play Mario Kart and Mario Party with me.

My father has been dead since I was 4. He was a big football player in our town so he would probably be like negative towards gaming and would want me to do some sport;P

He hates to see me play it, but doesn't stop me form playing. he just think it's like the 2nd post a useless hobby.

my mom on the other hand loves classic gaming becouse she bought my older brother abunch of games when he was little.

pac man, mario, sonic, stuff like that.

He thinks that games are messing me up. go figure, IM perfectly fine with a 4.0 in school

My dad loves games, he's a big Resident Evil fan and God of War fan. Just like me:) But he randomly plays cause he has to work a lot.

My dad doesn't play games, but he fully supports it as a hobby of mine. It was him who bought me a PS3 the Friday after they came out in the UK. He said it was a "family" thing, but really, it was clearly going to end up migrating upstairs to my bedroom. ;)

My dad likes old school games, but finds the current controllers too complex and confusing. I must look into getting him a Wii.

My dad used to play games with me when I was younger. He could probably beat anyone on this board at the original suer smash bros for N64. Once games got "complicated" he stopped playing them with me. Then again, I didn't really want to play with him anymore since I was older and was becoming distant from my parents.

daddy bought me about 90% of my game collection..:P.

My dad is OK with it, but for him, he thinks there's no point to it.

For my dad, enjoyment comes from socializing and reacting with people, so he can't fathom what I get out of gaming.

he likes it and plays tiger woods and racing games but he isn't a die-hard, but he also doesn't mind me talking about upcoming games.

He's pretty indifferent about it.

My dad will often have the game of FIFA with me. Other than that, he doesn't care.

He bought me all of my systems and most of my games (yeah, I'm daddy's lil girl)

He is terrible at most games but he still plays with me anyways which is awesome in my book!
