What is your favorite anime?

Best used to dragon ball z and the popular pokemon.

Now its between Bleach and Naruto, i only watch bleach.

Samurai Champloo is awesome and i didnt like the ending of Death Note though and also like the Guyver series.

I just finished watching the first season of "Slayers". It's an older one, but still fantastic! Just avoid the English dub, as It's painful.

Some other good ones include Hellsing (the OVAs especially), Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, Case Closed, Outlaw Star, Bubblegum Crisis, Appleseed, and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Just finished watching Hajime no ippo, awsome anime, seriously good watch from start to finish.

Others I'd reccommend are : Evangelion, Gantz, Elfen Lied, Chobits, Fruits Basket, Ouran high school host club, Air Tv, Sumarai Champloo, Cowboy Beebop, Please Teacher!

I've stopped following anime and don't watch any of the new shows, and will never begin watching anime again. Living in Japan has actually increased my hate for anime. With that said, I do have soft spots for some older series.

My favorite is Yu Yu Hakusho, but DBZ, GTO, and School Rumble are my other favs.

Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.

Here are two examples of it's awesome randomness, comedy, and brutality.

Depends. Recently? Michiko to Hatchin. It is from the makers of Samurai Champloo and is heavily stylized and based in the slums of latin america. I will check both... The 2 last best I watched was "Seirei no Moribito" and "Burai Gakkyu Kaiji".

For exemple, Haibane Renmei... is about a couple of girls who commited suicide and are trap into the purgatory to heal their wound before getting into heaven... it's in my top 3 of the most disturbing thing I saw in my life...

The first one was Evangelion... The second one Haibane Renmei... and after that it's the Count of Monte Cristo.
