[QUOTE="mrbojangles25"]

Burger:
lean ground beef with about 10% pork mixed in. Then take bacon, cook it (but dont crisp it), chop it up, and mix into the patty. Season with salt, pepper, garlic salt, paprika, a tiny dash of cayenne, and a drizzle of truffle oil. Grill to medium.

Bun:
onion roll

Condiments:
swiss cheese
butterleaf lettuce
heirloom tomato slice
grilled (not fried, grilled on an actual grill) onions, sliced thick
dijon mustard
mayo mixed with sri racha (chili garlic sauce)
grilled portabello mushroom cap

this is the best burger I ever made, and good freaking god it was good. Being drunk can often inspire you to do amazing things.

mrbojangles25

Holy crap dude that's awesome! :o

My sister is obsessed with Sri Racha. :P

yea, sri racha has this awesome ability, when used in moderation, to waken your taste buds. The trick is to not let the spice overwhelm the tongue.

Sounds great, but I'm too scared to try it. :P

Cheese, bacon, lettuce, caramelized onions, and ketchup is the best. That's what I get whenever I go to The Habit, which, in my opinion, is better than Inn N Out.

Am I the only one here that does not care for burgers at all? Ever since I was a kid I've always been disgusted by them, just the sight, smell, and seeing people eat them. I've never had a bad experience with one, but for some reason they always grossed me out. I mean, I'll eat one if I'm hungry enough and there's nothing else, but that's about the only time I do. I've honestly only ate about 3 full burgers in my 18 years of life, and I believe they were all Whopper Jr's because it was the only option. They weren't terribly bad, but I had to force myself to finish them since I felt a bit disgusted after the 4th bite or so.

I don't eat burgers anymore, but Steak n' Shake makes a glorious double steakburger.
