I have HD. Do you not see the picture? S-video is in a way component without the progressive scan. I can see all the bump-mapping in Halo and Halo 2 with s-video so why should I buy component and get a really sharp picture? erm jaggies magnified on a plasma tv.

While S-video provides a cleaner signal than composite, it can still only output 480i. Regardless of the television. The Xbox needs component cables to output in 720p or 1080i. .

My HTC Wildfire I suppose...although I like "playing" with hubby's Canon DSLR Eos 550D digital camera...beats my Panasonic Lumix by a million miles lmao.

I know but "if you don't need it don't buy it". I don't need the xbox hd pak because I'm happy with the advanced pak because my TV proscessing it really well.
