I'm 20 and just recently I watched every Movie to date except for the Half Blood Prince and the Deathly Hallows pt2. I picked the HBP book up at the library. I haven't watched a harry potter movie since I was 14. I always thought they were kind of dumb until now. I like all the movies that I have seen, but the Half Blood Prince is kinda hard gettingin to. Iv'e read over half the book and so far it's really slow. There are a few funny parts tho. But anyways my favorite one is either The Goblet of Fire or The Prisoner of Azkaban, I can't decide. What is Yours?

I have not read any of the books yet and have not seen either Part 1 or 2 of Deathly Hallows. I do enjoy the movies however. My favourite? Hard to say. The first three are enjoyable as stand-alone movies and the only movie I do not enjoy nearly as much as the others is Half-Blood Prince.

Haven't see the last two (well, last one if you count them as a single book). Azkaban is my favourite. Gondry's style made for a unique movie and a lot of fun. Later ones all suffer from being adaptation of ungodly long books and feel disjointed as a result. First two are very literal translations of the books, but the two plus minutes of clapping at the end of each of them really gets annoying.

I've read all the books and seen all the movies but Deathly Hallows Pt2.

The books are a lot better than the movies, I'm not saying the movies are bad just not as good as the books, my favorite book and movie is Goblet of Fire.

I haven't seen the last two films nor read any of the books, but Prisoner of Azkaban was by far the best film in terms of directing, writing, cohesion and emotions.

It was the first time I actually cared about the Harry Potter and his past and it marked the dark turn the series was heading into.

The books after The Goblet of Fire are so long that to convert them into a film covering everything, you would need 2-3 Parts. The Prizoner of Azkaban is my favourite film and my favourite book from the series is....I have none.

Prisoner of Azkaban is easily the best book, but I think Deathy Hallows Part 2 (definitely not Part I) is by far the best movie. Sure, it was only half of a longer story, but it's the only Potter movie that never dragged. It was always eventful.

Yeah, Half-Blood Prince isn't really a fast-paced book, it's more "here, sit and analyze this". It's not one of my favorites. As for my favorite books, they'd have to be Order of the Phoenix, Goblet of Fire and Deathly Hallows. But the Goblet of Fire movie is my favorite because of the amount of humor in it. :)

Either The Prisoner of Azkaban or The Goblet of Fire.

I felt after TGOF, the series took a dark turn which wasn't particularly needed. Rowling started killing off characters and tried to be too dramatic. Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed the last three books but the whole magical excitement of the first 4 diffused into dark plots and murder :P

movies suck. favorite book is Order of the Phoenix, though. It had everything. If I had to list the whole series from favorite to least favorite: 5,4,6,7,3,1,2. They're all great, though.

Prisoner get the best movie and book for me.

Deathly Hollows pt2 would have got it if the finally 3rd was not ***** compared to the book

Why Yates, why do you change ****** so much for the worse.

Where was my elf army

Where was the centaurs

Where was the epic wand duel at the end.

Why Yates why do you keep nerfing the big battles.

I had never seen any of the films until last week, when I knocked all seven of them out to prepare for Pt2. I think my favorite is Goblet of Fire but Deathly Hallows Pt2 was really good too. I need to read the books for more character and dialog though.

Movie - Prisoner of Azkaban.

I really like the flying sequence with Buckbeak and the music. Also at the end when he's about to get owned by those wraith things and the patronus saves him and he thinks its his father doing it.

The drama and dark thing was good , except in Order of the Phoenix , where Harry became an Emo , and you just wanted to punch him in the face .

Though thats all I read up too, I am wondering if the half blood prince and dealthy hollows is even worth reading. The only movie I could some how withstand in harry potter is dealthy hollows pt 1 haven't seen the new movie yet.

The Half-Blood Prince. I loved all the stuff about Riddle's past, and I liked that she fleshed out his character rather than have him be a simplistic and cartoonish villain. Also, I think the events in that one are just crazy awesome, that was the only book I read in one sitting, I absolutely could not put it down. I think I read the final climax with Snape and Dumbledore faster than I've read anything in my life, my eyes were swinging back and forth wildly
