I was wondering what you guys like to watch in your spare time so that is why i asked you guys the question that is in the title!

  • It can be from any era
  • It may be any genre
  • It has to be a show with atleast 5 episodes or more
  • You may attach a vid, pic or even .GIF of it to show what you mean (optional)

Okay all jokes aside, I'll say Legend of Korra, Transformers Prime, Falling Skies, and right now, it's Tyrant.

That got to be Seinfeld. I can't tell you how many times I rewatched that show already. Whenever I'm stressed out or feeling gloomy, I put on an episode or two with something to eat by my side and serenity starts to creep on me instantly.

As much as I love Vikings, have had fun watching Over The Garden Wall, followed hundreds of episodes of anime... it has to be, without a doubt:

Friday Night Lights is probably the one that Ive rewatched the most times

Others would be Scrubs, Blue Mountain State, Entourage (Seasons 1-4) and recently, the US version of Shameless

Can't really think of anything I've watched that rises above everything else...

I'm right there with you. I used to go to visit some friends and whenever they were watching Seinfeld I had to sit down and wait for the end of the ep so we could go out...I'd just sit on the couch grinding my teeth for the whole thing...there was absolutely nothing for me in that show. Annoying characters, episodes about nothing, unfunny situations...I don't get the love...

I think his comedy is distinctive in a way that you either love it or don't get it at all. Personally, I find it brilliant. Recently I started watching Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee and so far I'm loving it; already two seasons through.

Comedy is a genre that's hard to rationalize, and I'm very meticulous about it. The only comedies that I enjoy are Seinfeld, Veep, Rick and Morty and that's about it. I also liked Becker and Frasier back in the days. I tried to find both online to watch again but couldn't.

Frasier was great, wasn't until recent years that I learned it was a spinoff show, need to check out cheers as well.

That show started nicely, but then became so crass and coarse that I could no longer justify watching it.

I'm sorry but I find Game of Throne to be not interesting to me. I honestly don't know how anyone find it interesting but I just think the show is overrated. Whoever likes Game of Throne, more power to you.

  • 1a: Seinfeld
  • 1b: Parks and Recreation

Honorable Mention

  • Cheers
  • Curb Your Enthusiasm
  • 30 Rock
  • Arrested Development
  • It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia

I can't go with a drama, like The Sopranos, Breaking Bad, or Mad Men because those don't garner multiple re-viewings like comedies do. I watch them once and then I'm done with them. With a lot of the smart, layered comedies, you catch call-back, throwaway, and inside jokes that you didn't catch the first time or two watching.

I liked the first season of this but kinda lost interest after a while. I agree it's a great ending though, which I did see.

The best? Not sure about that. Would have to go with "all good things" on The Next Generation. The entire episodes, rather than a neat little montage at the end is great with a story scope that feels grander than any other episode prior. Better than any of the movie spinioff's that's for sure.

I don't really rewatch shows very often. I'll usually watch a show, in episodic order, and then forget about it until well...I forget about it. One exception I'm making to that is The Wire, which just released in Blu-Ray. I'm going to pick that up with my next paycheck for sure. I'd say that's my favorite show. It's an incredibly progressive and detailed show. Other top shows for me are Star Trek: TOS, TNG, DS9, Babylon 5, Deadwood, Curb Your Enthusiasm, Seinfeld, Rick and Morty.

One show I'm avoiding right now is Game of Thrones. I just don't care for it.
