My favorite type of music is Latin music, specifically Merengue & Bachata and I also like hip hop but not as a whole mainly gangsta rap. I not really into R&B.

[QUOTE="applesxc47"]I was wondering the same thing. Probably the most well known nintendocore band is Horse The Band. Its basically post-hardcore with nintendo-esque beats over it.what the hell is nintendocore?

Metal along with various sub genres such as Heavy, Black, Thrash, Doom, Death, etc... and a little bit of Power Metal. I also like Goth, Grindcore, Punk, some rock or classic rock, Psychobilly/Rockabilly, Dark Ambient, Ambient, folk music from around the world, military music such as marches or hymns from various time periods, classical and opera, a tiny percent of rap, some movie soundtracks or even video game soundtracks, hell I even find myself liking Trance/Techno and other similar sounding music styles.
But I always go back listening to music I mostly associate myself with along with the culture, in this case Metal of course.
Heavy metal and death metal. I also love power metal, symphonic metal, black metal, and have just lately been getting really into thrash metal.
I can normally get into a lot of different types of music. On the other hand though I can't stand pop-rock,pop-punk, techno, electronica, country (I don't think it is bad I just can't get into it), deep house black metal (same as country)
I like obscure, intricate, experimental electronic noise right now. I grow weary of rock and conventional techno. Electronic music from the 1900-1970 is good. I really like the music that is being made with modern software like Reaktor, Absynth 5, and Omnisphere. I need to get a computer that will run Omnisphere. Any musicians making electronic music should check out companies like Spectrasonics and Native Instruments.
My library is made up of mainly Metal and CIassical, with a few bands from other genres here and there.
Heavy Metal being my #1, with Maiden, Priest and Sabbath leading the charge.
Thrash Metal being #2, with Metallica, Megadeth and Slayer offering support.
and Melodic Death Metal being #3, with Amon Amarth, Children of Bodom and In Flames bringing in the rear.
I'm also a big fan of Punk Rock music (mainly Rise Against), and I've got a huge love for The Beatles, The Who and Creedence Clearwater Revival.
Other notable genres would be Death Metal and Nu-Metal (Holds up flame shield). As much as Nu-Metal get's mocked, I cannot help but dig the sounds. Mainly the band Slipknot. Glam Metal isn't too bad either.
[QUOTE="SpiritOfFire117"] Lately, the majority of the music I listen to has been metalcore.battlefront23What bands, if I may ask? Just the bands that I listed in that last metal thread which included Atreyu, August Burns Red, As I Lay Dying, Haste the Day, Demon Hunter, Parkway Drive, Inhale Exhale, Killswitch, Oh Sleeper just off the top of my head.
