[QUOTE="Guybrush_3"][QUOTE="Schnauzerz"]Such a stupid thread. First of all, all you kids saying your IQ is well over 130, that would put in you in the top 98 percentile of those who have taken the test. Complete **** this is the gamespot off-topic forum, where insecure teenagers discuss their latest naive theories of God 24/7 - not a quantum physics lab.
IQ tests are quite pointless, they try to map intangibles in a tangible, human way - a simple number for Gods sake.

smart nerds on forums? Anyway,I am in the top 1% but when you really think about, it isnt that special. There are 3 million people in the USabout as smart or smarter than I am. Hell there were two kids in my graduating class that were smarter than I am in a class of 142 people at a public school (one of them was so smart that she made me feel stupid)
Smart yes, but most of us, even if we are considered whiz kids would fall into in the category IQ of 85-114, Average Intelligence or the range of 115-129 which is Bright or smart. To say that most people here are 130 or above would indicate that they are Moderately Gifted or considered geniuses. To me, that is unlikely especially given the fact that this is a off topic video game website and anyone considered a genius would be probably doing something else than hang out here. To suggest that a lot of people who are 130 IQ or above hangs out here, would seem unlikely given that they are in 98th percentile and thus a very small population. The nature of these forums makes it quite likely that there is a far higher concentration of gifted individuals than elsewhere; hardcore gamers tend to be relatively intelligent, according to most studies on the subject, and those who frequent these boards are, for the most part, hardcore gamers. There is a plethora of other reasons that forums of this sort might tend to have a higher concentration of gifted people than the population at large, but, to be honest, I am feeling somewhat lazy at the moment and don't particularly feel like delineating them.
