I see it like this: making "being gay a norm allows me like another .001 percent chance of trying to get with the girl I want to get with. I'll take those odds.-Karmum-
No, because girls can be gay too.

This is true, but somehow I was probably referring the girl being heterosexual too.The thought can go both ways, really.

Because 90% of gay people try to act like women and that annoys me. They over dress themselves, sometimes they wear makeup. They take "girly" photos with girly smiles or "duck-faces" and that is just annoying.Â
And I have never met a gay man that didn't behaved at least 50% like a woman and viceversa.
You have some pretty petty reasons for being against homosexuality.
Are you trying to suggest that you don't like being in a male's body? I'm guessing that you are a guy.Find it unsettling on a personal/emotional level.
But I'm ok with it on a political /ethical level.
A male's body is disgusting to me, but if its your thing fine.

If you don't like gay people or are homophobic, you are a douchebag. They are no different from straight people except for what they like. It literally has NO effect on you at all.
Â
"I don't want to have social relationships with gay people" WTF IS THIS ****? Do you have no gay friends or talk to any gay people? I know a few people that are gay and they are fine, good , intelligent people. Get over your childish self.
I don't approve cause i am a believer of God, but its their life and choice soo not my problem :D i worry about my own sins AussieePetCognitive dissonance must be a pain in the ass.
Don't put it on TV. Don't make shows about it. But got get married if you want, any story involving gayness is completely boring and ill connected with the general public. Who wants to watch that stuff?lo_PineWell, given that Glee is on its fourth season...

How is a male body disgusting exactly? Do you think your own body is disgusting or something? I'm mostly indifferent about it, but I can still respect and admire an aesthetically pleasing body regardless of gender, in fact I'd even say a man's body at its genetic potential or higher at a medium to low BF% is much more aesthetically pleasing than a female one, but not in the sexual way that I'd view a female body. To go as far as to say it's "disgusting" though is really weird, I don't get that at all.ÂFind it unsettling on a personal/emotional level.

I don't necessarily "approve" of it as such , but its not my business , if somebody wants to be in a relationship like that, Im not stopping him , and I would not approve of that person getting attacked because of it.
Â
I suppose you could call it approval through inaction on my part.
Homosexuals have no effect on my life whatsoever, so they can do whatever they want, as far s I'm concerned.

Obviously male bodies aren't objectively unpleasant to look at, but not everyone is comfortable with having them. Trans* women for instance. And personally, even though I think my male body can look attractive, I do not appreciate it at all. Looking at myself in the mirror is actually distressing for me.ghoklebutter
Just curious, why do you put the asterisk after trans?

Just curious, why do you put the asterisk after trans?
Because there are many terms out there: transgender, transsexual, etc. So it's easier to just use a "wild-card" adjective like "trans*" because it's inclusive. It also includes people who don't exist on the sex binary and/or the gender binary, such as neutrois folks, genderqueer folks, etc. It's just an attempt to be more inclusive. The trans* community is historically known for policing trans* people and imposing ideas of who a true trans* person is. Kind of like how a lot of people in the LGB community have these ridiculous ideas of what it means to be homosexual and this strange aversion to bisexual folks.
