Ambassador.
I was respected and liked by everyone. I often acted as an intermediary as funny as that sounds.
But as for who I was close with, well, pretty much a few of my fellow band nerds and my lineman friends from the football team.
Party on Wayne! Its been a long time. But I was part of the group of kids your parents told you not to hang out with. But we were not really bad kids,we just skipped a lot of school. And the only reason we were all freinds is we did not fit into any of the other cliques. So I ended up getting exposed to so much more in the terms of culture and music and entertainment and life experience than I would have If I was in one of the other groups that were based around having things in common or being popular.
That being said, some of us were popular, but did not hang out with the popular kids. One of the kids had a local access show and i was the co host, and we couldnt go anywhere in town without someone following us around.

Liked by pretty much everyone.
I'm known as the skater who ollied off a 10 ft + building at a football game freshman year. lol.
I would never consider myself a "popular" person in high school. First off, you would need to define what it takes to be popular.
For me, most people who claim they are popular, are not... They're just snobby and strive for the image, and are hated by other social groups. How can you possibly be popular for being a snob and hated by every other group? So many people seem to be like that.
If you're truly popular, you should be liked by anyone, whether it be jocks or geeks. If you can truly be liked by anyone, then you're a good person.
For me, I still do not like to put that image over myself, but in high school I was pretty well-liked by anyone who took the chance to get to know me, and I knew quite a lot of people and had a good number of "cliques" to go all around.
I don't like to say that made me popular; though, but all that should really matter was that I was happy in high school, and I loved my friends and they really made my high school career an enjoyable one.

Party on Wayne! It was not like that at all.In high school I was in the middle. Friends with just about everyone, and if you weren't my friend you were a friend of one of my friends, and thus we would eventually become friends. All in all I'm just very easy to get along with, so I had a few really good friends and a ton of acquaintances. I was actually on the shy side in HS... it was a very odd experience, being shy AND well-known/liked.
Edit: to add, my senior year was weird as well. I knew everyone in the senior class and they(for the most part) liked me, but the freshmen-juniors LOVED me. I don't know what it is about Freshmen, but they flocked to me like I was Jesus.
I'm the nerd but somehow ladies man.
It's pretty awesome, like earlier I was talking to nerds about the DSi and whamo. Hottest girl in my gradejust randomly hugging on me.
None of my friends, or me, understand it! hah
I went to a primarily black High School, and I am kinda proud to say that the "cliques" that are such a huge part of white teen life are not common in black schools (I went to a primarily white elementary and junior high school, so I know the difference first hand).
I was cool with everybody, but I hesitate (still to this day) to call many people "friend".
No offense...but usually that means it was a joke if something like that happened. Unless this happens to you a lot :PI'm the nerd but somehow ladies man.

My social status at school is really low now. I had alot of friends and a so called gf but not anymore I don't want any of it ever again now.SSBFan12You are in 7th grade at least according to your thread from a day or two ago. :| I would drop the drama queen and get back to whatever this "ever again now" is.
