Canadians have accents? I thought we were exactly the same as Americans.

Unfortunately we do, and my American relatives like making fun of mine :(My 3 favorite accents (for English) are
Scottish, as made famous by Sean Connery, as it gives off an impression of power and elegance.
English (proper), gives off the impression of goodEtiquette.
Central Kentucky (I call it sophisticated southern), obscure accent that blends Midwest/normal American accent with a dash of southern. Gives off the impression of wisdom and knowledge. (exp George Clooney)
I pretty much have an accent fetish when it comes to my women ;)
I'd take a girl with a foreign accent over one with a plain west-coast North American (where I live) tone.
My current favourites are Eastern European, Irish, and southern United States (Georgia etc.) although I find anything from Australia, the British Isles, or France generally really sexy.
This guy really knows what he's talking about, frensh and irish accents are awesome.I pretty much have an accent fetish when it comes to my women ;)

Unfortunately we do, and my American relatives like making fun of mine :( Well to be fair it depends on where you're from. Newfoundland has the strongest accent, then theres all the other Eastern Provinces, then Quebec has it's french, but as you go farther West it more resembles a North Western American Accent.Russians have the most gangster accent, good for males.
Spanish and French have the sexiest accents, good for females.
When a dark skin tone girl with glasses has a British, Australian, Russian, and French accent omg om nom nom! I hate Filipino accents a lot even though my family is filipino which might be a factor in why i hate it when They TAWWK LIKE DEESE!MrLions
I think most "Asian" (You know... Chinese, Cantonese, Mandarin, Filipino, Korean, Japanese... The typical association with the word "Asian" regardless of how accurate it actually is since Asia includes many more places than just China,Philippines, Japan, Korea, etc.) are kind of funny. Then again, I am Chinese and I have been surrounded by broken English for a while. :P
Usually the Asian girls that have good Australian accents are the hot ones ;) like communitychannel/Nathalie? haha :P[QUOTE="Mr_Manikin52"]
- Asian girls that speak in an Australian accent turn me on.

I dont know which I like but I hate the accent of people who come from the balcans when they try to speak greek.
Though I have heard of English people trying to speak greek before.
In the school I used to go where I took English cIasses, every year we had two different people from England who taught us some of the week's days. So I dont know how it came about but I ended up teaching one of them how to say the greek words for "a$$hole" and "f****t". After that I heard him going down the corridor saying "malaka malaka malaka" (= a$$hole). :P He was just goofing around though, no one took any offense. He was a really funny guy, and sounded really goofy and funny. So I guess English people trying to speak greek is something I like.
How does one define a British accent? I mean you have scottish, welsh and English to choose from.. not to mention all the regional accents within each of those countries.
Me i like the Scottish Accent (the more commonly heard from the big cities),also the Cork (In Ireland)accent.
