What kind of Career do you want/have?

I'm in college working on my aerospace engineering major.. so a design job for Lockheed Martin, Boeing, Raytheon, NASA, etc. would be what I'm looking for.Dark__Link

Great choice! Now is the time to get into the aerospace field, its already booming and will continue to grow, especially with NASA building its new Orion spacecraft (thousands of jobs right there) and the new "Vision For Space" mission.

Well my dream job would be at NASA's Jet propulsion labs, but I don't want to work there yet...it would be a career killer...

So after today it sounds like it could be either designing medical imaging equipment (Barco) or designing airplane cockpits/electronics (Spectralux). Tomorrow I'm hoping to meet with a Fluke Biomedical about medical testing equipment, Boeing about cockpit layouts, and Microsoft's robotics division. It's kind of a weird mix but my Bachelor's is in Biomedical Engineering and I'm getting my Maters in Mechanical Engineering so I do a lot of control systems and human factors/ergonomics type of work. Right now I'm building robots that feel indistinguishable from humans (as opposed to just looking like humans) by controlling them with models of human muscle/reflexes.

Wow, that sounds like a very interesting field your into. That field also seems heavily hands on which is great.

Right now I work as a Starbucks shift supervisor and I'm a student in college. No idea what I want to do in the future. I'd really like to play poker for a living, but I'm not yet sure how reasonable it is (Even though I am quite good!).Mumbles527
