[QUOTE="JJ_1"] Its really up to you. The three best guitar brands are Gibson, Epiphone and Fender. I perfer Gibson for its wholesome tone. Fender has more of a screechy ring to it while epiphone is between the two. I may like bass more then guitar and play alot more bass then guitar, but I know alot more about guitar then most people.

That is subject to opinion. Fender is one of my favourite brands, but I think Gibson's are highly over priced for what they are worth, you can get a Tokai Les Paul for half the price of a Gibson LP Standard and it will sound just as good. Also considering that Gibson/Epiphone guitars all lack a whammy bar system makes suggesting them to the TC rather silly dont you think?
There are so many other good guitar brands out there that are far more innovative then Gibson is when it comes to making guitars that sound unique or play well. Metal heads usually go for Ibanez and Jackson guitars, blues and classic rock guitarists will play either Fender or Gibson, however if you are into most of those styles as well as jazz, Ibanez is really the most versatile brand maker. Although I personally love Godin guitars, they have such a unique tone and they make some wicked axes, I plan on investing in a Godin A6 Ultra which is a hybrid acoustic and electric guitar with dual outputs, one for acoustic and the other for the single humbucker in the neck position, very versatile axe.
Yea, it was just an opinion of what I thought were great guitars. I perfer Gibson over Fender, but thats just me. There are lots of people that love fenders. I just never was. Also, even though Gibson and Epiphone don't have a whammy bar, doesn't mean they arnt options. I don't think there is a need for whammy bars unless your going into some really heavy or classic rock. But thats just my opinion. And last, Arnt Ibanez really expensive? I saw lots for over three to four grand. Maybe it's just me, but isn't that a little excessive for a guitar?
Anyway, thats my two cents.
