I am a gamer who doesn't go out as much as i would like but would say i am cool. Games are taking over, need to get my social life back on track! Too many free days, must get a job in this hard ecomony!

Erm I don't really know. I asked Hero if I was a casual gamer cause I'm not obsessed with gaming like he is and there's lots of stuff I haven't played. But he said because of my willingness to play anything I'm not a casual :? I game often - I'm addicted to L4D atm but I don't know of every new release and I struggle to find a game I like enough to complete. So I really don't know...

I'm a gamer who doesn't get out much. Most of the people in my circle of friends are similar to me in this aspect, so I don't have any partying buddies.
I wouldn't even really call my self a gamer, any more than I would call myself a basketball player. I play one-on-one or teams with friends sometimes, but not enough for it to be a habit or a go-to activity. Same with gaming-I've never bought a new system within a year of its release, I really only play during the summer, and it's rare that I buy more than three games in one year. My interest in video games is much larger than my desire to play them.
When I do infact go out, I go out for at least 12 hours, sometimes spend a day or two out of the house, but when i'm in my house and not studying, gaming is my thing.

So I really don't know... *looks at 16.1 hours in last 2 weeks* Maybe not a hardcore gamer though you are a heavy gamer, to be a hardcore gamer you have to be playing to win or finish the game to some extent IMO... *ponders about own status again* I think i'm more of a hardware enthusiast who does a bit of gaming on the side TBH

I can count the amount of games I've completed on both hands and the amount I've completed on my own without cheating on one hand. I get kept up-to-date with gaming news from Hero and I know enough about games I haven't played to be able to discuss it. But in terms of my fav games I'm totally casual - Crash Bandicoot, Spyro, The Sims, Peggle etc :lol:
I'd say a casually hardcore gamer :P I don't play games religiously, albeit I tend to get into the game in comical manners when I play with friends :lol:
I don't know. I'm a gamer but I'm not hardcore...but I'm not overly casual either. I game every now and then, but it isn't my life...but I do really love it. :)
I have a life and i'm a good gamer. I have a lot of friends of both genders, and i get out a lot, and i play games whenever, but i always play pretty good. I like my life :). I wouldn't be surprised if quite a few of the people here are also in the same position as i am.
