Took French up until A-Level, took Japanese up to GCSE (planning to study both at university next year), did a bit of German pre-GCSE and am now studying for a Spanish and German GCSE :D I like to show off you see :p
Learned French until my secondary school made it optional. Last year, I did a certificate in beginner level Japanese, and this college year, it's to be Russian.
Took two years of French in highschool....I ended up essentially taking the same class twice (the teacher made atleast a 1/4 of the class take a French #"B" class because she deemed we weren't proficient enough to move up to the next level). After the second year I decided French wasn't my thing and took a political class as an elective over it.
