I'm going to purgatory
PurgatoryYou have escaped damnation and made it to Purgatory, a place where the dew of repentance washes off the stain of sin and girds the spirit with humility. Through contrition, confession, and satisfaction by works of righteousness, you must make your way up the mountain. As the sins are cleansed from your soul, you will be illuminated by the Sun of Divine Grace, and you will join other souls, smiling and happy, upon the summit of this mountain. Before long you will know the joys of Paradise as you ascend to the ethereal realm of Heaven.

The Test
Hmm, this is a handy little test, I know what I need to work on in my life (lust...god...why did I have to be born a man :P).
Not saying this is how God will view my sins of course lol, but it is entertaining.
[QUOTE="Tim_Q"][QUOTE="Lansdowne5"]I want to clear one thing up because most people seem to be saying that you go to hell just because you sin. That is not true.
Hell (Hades) was first heard of in the Bible, before any other religion took it on in their beliefs. Therefore the best place to understand what Hell is (assuming we believe this place is real) is to actually look in the Bible which was the place it originated from.
Now, we are supposedly looking at the place where the Devil is supposed to reside - Hell. But what we are infact doing is taking a biblical place, even though most of you seem set against anything that is from the Bible, and turning it into something it is not.
The hell we seem to be refferring to is actually Hades. Hades is sometimes traslated as Hell from Greek.
Hades has been misconstrued so many times over the past few centuries that unless you take your knowledge straight from the original source it came from (The Bible) then we come out with something that is nothing like what is really is.
Hades is only the final destiny for those who have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, this means you can sin all your life, but, if you have opened your heart to God, it won't matter, he will judge you for your sins, but he will not condemn you for them so long as you have believed in Jesus during your life.
All the way through the New Testament it teaches that Jesus is the key to eternal life. The one and only thing that will keep you from Heaven, is if you disregard him and try to prove he was a fake.
So as long as you repent for sin through Jesus all of your sins will be forgotten and I can garantee you that you will not go to hell when you die.

What if I believe in god but don't want to apologize for buying a nice car?
Hell, I want to be a chef when I grow up, should I have to apologize for fully believing that eating (something to keeps you alive) is a finer part of life? Why eat something that tastes terrible? I want to make it as pleasant of an experience as possible.
Apologizing for stuff like this is like being back in teh third grade having to apologize to the teacher for not raising my hand. Rediculous.
Who says that you can't do any of those things? The Bible certainly does not.
God is pleased with anyone who works hard towards their goal, and is happy for you to use what you have earned for any use you wish, (except, to purposefully hurt someone else). And God is pleased if you choose to do something that will help others with what you earn, but it is not by any means a nessessity.
One question asks if we want a sports car or an SUV, if you answer yes to this, it automatically assumes you induldge yourself in the sin that goes along with that. (Greed or something like that)
And another question asks whether you think eating is one of the finer parts of life, and if you say say, it automaticaly assumes you induldge yourself in gluttony.
Took the test I got Level 1 took the test again with the same answers and I got Purgatory, hmmm...
Dammit I wanted to be with some of the worlds greatest philosophers. :(
Level 1 - Limbo
Charon ushers you across the river Acheron, and you find yourself upon the brink of grief's abysmal valley. You are in Limbo, a place of sorrow without torment. You encounter a seven-walled castle, and within those walls you find rolling fresh meadows illuminated by the light of reason, whereabout many shades dwell. These are the virtuous pagans, the great philosophers and authors, unbaptised children, and others unfit to enter the kingdom of heaven. You share company with Caesar, Homer, Virgil, Socrates, and Aristotle. There is no punishment here, and the atmosphere is peaceful, yet sad.
Purgatory - Very Low
Level 1 - High
Level 2 - High
Level 3 - Low
Level 4 - Very Low
Level 5 - Low
Level 6 - Low
Level 7 - Low
Level 8 - Moderate

Well...it could be worse.
