I joined at first because my cousin had an account here, but I left after a couple weeks and went to Game Informer's website. After I was banned from there, I set up a new account here because I can't remember what the old one was, and I've been here ever since.

I saw countless people saying that the PS3 was twice as powerful as the 360 based solely on the floating point numbers and theoretical maxes. I just had to set people straight and explain the concept of GPU pipeline efficiency and advanced GPU design. Helping people in the PC forums quickly became satisfying as well. I've been hooked ever since...
Because way back in 2005 downloading from here didnt have limits on bandwidth, at least compared to other places. It was a free, and very fast, download hub for patches, and demos.
A friend in high school. Overall compared to other gaming websods, Gamespot is more strict that the others, but also Gamespot does have one of the larger videogame site forums.
