Dark Knight (I wasn't much of a Batman fan).

[QUOTE="MetroidPrimePwn"]The correct answer to this thread is Speed Racer :PFilm-Guy

You sir win this thread, that film was so ridiculous and awesome that after a while my mind began to unravel and all I saw for hours afterward were bright colors and flashing lights, even at night.

Indeed. There were some "good" movies this year, but Speed Racer was the one that made real-life seem slow, boring, and mono-chromatic by comparison.

In Bruges and Kung Fu Panda are the two films this year that really exceeded my expectations

In Bruges surpised me in how great it was. Quantum of Solace was a letdown to me.

Probably Tropic Thunder. I went into it expecting almost nothing, and it ended up being one of the best comedies I've seen in the last few years.

Australia, in that it was really disappointing. I think the worst part is that it could have been brilliant. Some scenes, such as the cattle stampede, were excellent and some of the most visually stunning scenes I've seen all year, while others were incredibly corny and cheesy. Sometimes I find it worse when a movie that could have been great just turns out ok then when a movie just flat-out sucks.

In Bruges--I thought it was going to be a Pulp Fiction styIe comedy, and while it did have that, I never thought it would be so emotionally affecting.

Let the Right One In also, just because I never thought a Swedish vampire movie would be one of the best movies I've seen all year.

Heck I wouldnt think that a Swedish film period would be one of my favorite films of the year, I havent seen a good swedish film in ages aside from this one and everlasting moments.

Allright, I saw the Spirit last night and I'm very surprised how much it sucked. Did they learn anything from Sin City?

Wall-e. One of the best movies I've ever seen!ferrari2001
Yeah me too, my sister wanted to watch it with me and I thought it would've been a really boring movie but I found myself laughing for quite a bit of it.
