"I could care less". People say it all the time and don't even realise it's completely wrong. harashawn

How is it wrong? They are saying they are not really interested but they will give you a chance. There is a degree of intrest.

As for "I have lost all faith in humanity." How arrogant could they be to believe people care what theythinkof humanity? It's just a cliche bit of melodrama.

most people use that phrase when they are trying to express no interest instead of the correct I couldn't care less.

I see.

Plus, "I could care less is almost completely meaningless" in that it could describe the emotional feelings from caring slightly, to having a complete adoration for something.

"I could care less" = "I don't really care." Which way you choose to state is up to you.

I really dislike when people "duh" me. Like, "Well it's supposed to be like that, DUH". It's such a rude, obnoxious term used for lack of a more intelligent word or phrase, and normally is said with such a condescending tone . If you're kidding that's all right of course, I can take a joke, but I hate whenever someone tries to make me feel stupid.

I'm sorry to ramble, I just really don't like it is all :P.

"Give 110%"

I cant explain to you how much I hate this statement when it comes to effort... If you are going to spit in the face of math why don't you just say something completely ridiculous like 983751873581%.

Shame on theathlete or worker who only gave 100% :|

Actually, whenever anyone has responded like that...It's usually just that in the response. Not why or anything.

The last thread I remember you claiming that people dont back up those claims, they actually did.

I did too and another user showed with detail the fallacies you commited. I didnt see you return in that thread after that...........

Really? I didn't see any responses explaining anything. What thread was this?

And if I didn't respond the Topic was not on the First or Second page when I looked. Therefore, I figured no one responded.

"If you don't vote, you have no right to complain."

But where's the logic in that? Think it through: If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and you screw things up, then you're responsible for what they've done. You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have zero right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote—who, in fact, did not even leave the house on Election Day—am in no way responsible for what these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created, which I had nothing to do with. Why can't people see that?

+1 for the reference.

"X game is horrible/sucks/terrible/ect" This is pretty rampant on game forums these days...and I think it's really over used and is indicative of a certain mentality that is on the rise. I won't go into what I think that mentality is, but I'll just say why that phrase bothers me. Basically it denies that game any merit what-so-ever and I think it really is so of insulting towards the developers of that game and the people who may have enjoyed it. Personally I think there are very few games that are truly terrible, and for the most part this phrase is used towards mostly popular games anyways.

The question I hate most is, "Are you intelligent?". It's just one of the most dumb questions I have ever heard. What defines a person as being the most intelligent? Intelligence is relative to the subject at hand. You can be highly intelligent when it comes to global warming, knowing everything there is to know about the subject. However, you can't perform an open-heart surgery or even perform CPR correctly. Does that automatically make you dumb? How can you call yourself intelligent when you can't even save another person's life in the most basic fashion? It's just the dumbest question I have ever heard.

for me its "meh" itto me isnt even pronounceable and has absolutely no meaning, if you dislike something that much put it into actual words like an explaination. also when my friend says"the way you carry yourself" it has absolutly no meaning to me at all, i wish he could put what he wants to say into other words.

ill be back if i think of anything else. mostlikely i wont until the threads long gone.:P
