If there is intelligent design, well, then God is a very bad Creator. Our bodies have many defects. People get cancer, people wear glasses, and there are many other diseases. Many other animals are more advanced than us in certain body types. We're just intelligent with large brains, that's all.

I would define my religious beliefs as Agnostic. But part of that is because being Atheist has so many negative conotations.

You shouldn't let the ignorance of other people define who you are. If you don't believe in God, you're an atheist. There's nothing wrong with that.

I'm 17 now and have a 6 year old brother. 7 years ago in 2000 I had another Brother, who only lasted a few weeks long, dieing of pneumonia. What was his fault?

I love how certain christians believe without having proof.. anyway..

There was once some christian dude that tried to ''convert'' me. His arguments we're horrible. For example he said :

-Believe in God, you have nothing to lose. If there is nothing after death, then it doesn't matter if you believed or not, but if there is life after death you will burn for EVER in hell. (yay, believing in something because if you don't you MIGHT burn eternally in a fiery pit)

-Jesus died on the cross for you and if you believe in him he willforgive all your sins and grant you eternal life in heaven.He would even forgive you i you murdered you parents and killed people. (That means that if I am a really good person but I don't believe in God, I will burn in hell. However I can be a psychopath that kills people and because Jesus died on the cross for me and I believe it I will be forgiven and go to heaven. Wow, nice logic)

-Jesus died on the cross for me and God gave up his only sun. Because they both sacrificed so much I should be grateful and dedicate my life to God. (I have no proof that some dude died on a cross for me, the Bible is very old and for all I know it could be complete BS)

-What are the chances that the big bang really happened. Doesn't it make more sense thata divine being created our universe? (umm, no it doesn't make more sense)

Some of the points I don't understand about Chrisianity.

-''Evolution is a just THEORY, the BIBLE is fact!!'' (It seems to me that certain people don't know the real definition of a theory. Let me insert a quote.. : ''If you are skeptical by nature, unfamiliar with the terminology of science, and unaware of the overwhelming evidence, you might even be tempted to say ''its just a theory''. In the same sense, relativity as described by einstein is ''just'' a theory. The notion that the Earth orbits around the sun rather than vice versa, offered by Coprnicus in 1543, is a theory. Continental drift is a theory.''

-If God loves all of us equally because we are his creation, if he is an generous and loving god, then why do millions of people live in poverty and opression? Why do some many people die in wars and of diseases?

-If God created us all, why would be allow homosexuals to exist? I mean why create something you love because you created but hate because his sexual preference is of the same gender?

-Why is Christianity the ''real'' religion? I mean there are thousands of other gods that exist.. so why would ''God'' be the real one? (this actually applies to all religions that believe in a divine being.

But he didn't "accept Jesus as his savior" since he was only a few weeks old. In the Bible, that's the only way. And if God is perfect, and made mankind, how do these problems come in? All because of Eve? And why was Eve punished, and not the snake that caused all of this? That's a fairy-tale, seriously, how do people believe this stuff. Original sin or w/e it's called is hilarious.

Many Hindus believe that all religions actually refer to the same god, and are just different paths to heaven and escaping the cycle of reincarnation (apparantly you go to heaven or hell and it's just your soul that get reincarnated). We performed plays one weekend at my Hindu "Sunday school", and one class actually did the life of Christ. I've personally become agnostic, but if I were to become religious, I'd certainly remain a Hindu.

I'd still say that Original Sin is a pretty fairy-tale type thing.

If I ask why people have Cancer when it is not their fault, your answer will be because of the original sin, getting punished because of what Eve did. It's just too fairy-tale like.
