GS hates us, that's the reason for all these changes.

Ha low post counts dont mean someone is new.
i read several people from old gamspot say they were going to make new accounts since they didnt like their current username.
and of course people lost posts during the transition. i lost 500 posts during the transition
Exactly. I didn't start posting much until maybe last year so my post count was already low, then the transition knocked some down, but I've been around since 05' so making assumptions like that aren't always true.
I find it amusing that double_decker suddenly has fewer posts than LJ. A hundred thousands posts for naught.
That's just for overall posts on OT, although on the old site he also had about 3K more posts than me, but it did take him several more years to reach that, and my posts were of course, always of more quality :P
@Jebus213 Also, I have been posting at OT and GameSpot in general long before you were ever a user here, and yes things did use to be good around here, and with the new Terms of Use I am thinking the quality of things will be going up here again. :) since it's more like the older Terms of Use which tries to promote being nice to fellow users and actual conversation.
Just browsing around for the first time my first impressions are that I can't easily tell what is an ad and what is part of GS. I also can't find half the things I used to find. I used to go to a game and see the metacritic score and sometimes go there to read if scores are very different. Is there even metacritic scores shown anymore? Ability to add game from game page?
Maybe I missed a notice telling us what features are to be implemented later.
So this change made people lose posts? Man I knew something was off. Could have sworn I had 11k+ posts before the change now I have ~10.8k. Though perhaps I'm just wrong idk...
Anyway gonna miss the old Gamespot. It actually looked and felt unique in a good way.
