Imogen Heap is fine, I guess, but I'd be more impressed if you played Brahms.

Do that one and you are probably guaranteed an A. Unless you are capable of harder than this

Well I have been playing on and off for around 4 years. Im pretty good at watching people play and playing that. Im looking for a more new song. I can play old songs like Fur Elise but I have more fun learning the newer stuff like from bands of today or piano songs today.

Can you read music? Sounds like I wouldn't be of much help to you, though, since I'm not interested in band music or modern piano songs (if you're referring to what I think you are), and obviously haven't thought about difficulty levels of particular arrangements.

And  @ all the people telling him to learn a virtuosic piece to exam performance quality in a week. He needs something much simpler than what has been posted.

I always was a fan of Liszt- Here's a recording of his hungarian rhapsody #2 (everyone knows this one).

Seems like you're interested in video game music, and you say you have a good knack for picking up new music by ear. I would recommend, then, that you look up a slow song that you like a lot (you'll be motivated to practice it because you'll WANT to learn it). Go for something short, and keep it slow. You've got a better chance of learning it in a week than trying to tackle a fast work, especially with no sheet music. Good luck.

Yes, but what are the chances of him learning that in a week? University trained pianists need months to learn that sort of work to performance level.

I dunno if you're good at playing just by listening, but this is a pretty nice set of songs; I specially like Green Bird. (from Cowboy Bebop)

Try "Cohen's Masterpiece" if your really good at the piano. Or even try tackling "Flight of the Bumblebee" if you want to have fun with it.

Would you be able to learn Liszt's Liebestraum? Or at least a bit of the beginning.. how long does your piece have to be?

Say, while we're talking about pianos. I have to play a short piece for one of my classes (it's not a music class, it's just to demonstrate a certain composer's style) so i'm going to use an old keyboard i've had for a long time. The problem is, I can't make it sound anything like an actual piano. There's even a setting that makes it sound like wind (WTF?) but not one that, you know, just sounds nice. Can anyone help me out?

Mkay.. something much easier.. ok well I had learned The entertainer which requires a fair amount of control and expertise so you can try this. If you want a very simplified version of it, just tell me and I'll send the sheet music to you.

Yeah you can try Moonlight Sonata's 1st movement (Youtube) which is somewhat simple. It just requires good timing and tone control.
