What are your favorite song intros? To me, intros are anything before the singing or "main riff" has begun. Hopefully there won't be too many "Sweet Child O' Mine" picks!

The lack of Hallowed be thy Name by Iron Maiden in this thread saddens me...maybe I love it because it's my fav. Maiden song, and the intro gets me excited for the song. :P

I also like Black Dahlia Murder - I Will Return, or Nile with their songs Cast Down the Heretic and Annihilation of the Wicked.

I'd have to say the best intro to a song is either House Carpenter or Summer's Lost by HURT. (HURT is also the greatest band EVER!)
