What thing major thing do you think will be proved wrong this century?

It was proved wrong that the world was flat. Could there be something as significant as that to be proved wrong? I think space travel at faster than lightspeed will be proved to be possible.

I don't think that's possible ever the way the universe works, much like travel to the past. Existence itself will not allow it, hence why time slows down the closer you approach to the speed of light stopping you from ever getting there. I think it will be something about medicine or food.

i hope that global warming is proven wrong,that it is perhaps a natural cycle pertaining to global alignment.but i doubt that will happen.the gov. wouldn't be able to tax us for it.

There are certain physical properties that change the faster one goes that would appear to preclude faster-than-light travel, but "time slowing down" is not one of them. :P
