What to do when you're bored?

I'm sat in front of my computer, with the whole World Wide Web at my disposal, and I'm still incredibly bored.

I just generally can't think of anything to do.

What do you guys get up to when you're bored?

learn an instrument, read a book, write a movie (no lie, this can actually be really entertaining if you know what you're doing), go buy a tv series to watch, and there's more stuff to do.

I know when I get bored of playing my ps3 and the internet I go to writing some music or learning some stuff on the keyboard (which I'm actually really bad at, so it's a nice challenge to learn as you play).

Read a book or newspaper, watch a dvd, make a snack, ring my family members (damned if I'm gonna be bored without whingeing about it to someone), tidy my room, cut my toenails and try and hit the cat with the clippings (this is great fun though he doesnt think so).

I'm assuming that you are relatively young (although I could be wrong about that). If I'm correct, and you live with your parents, why don't you do something nice for them. Go clean the kitchen or do a few loads of laundry or something. A random act of kindness.

with all those skin cancers, I feel a lot more safe inside, except sitting down so much is a risk for colon cancer...

I go to the "Ask the mods" forum on Gamespot.
