Not enough plasma TVs in this thread...

TV is becoming outdated. Today, there is Netflix, Hulu, Veoh, and other means via which TV programs can be viewed online at the time you want to watch them. Soon, online TV viewing will catch up completely, which means that you'll no longer have to wait a few days after a show's initial broadcasting on TV, to see it online. With that said, here's my "TV". It's an Asus 24" 1920x1080 LED backlight monitor.

you can watch both netflix and hulu on your tv, and believe me watching on my 52' is much bettert than streaming it from my PC.
I have a 26" LCD Samsung in my bedroom (complete with 5.1 sound) and a 37" LCD Samsung in my living room.
a 46" 1080p samsung lcd hdtv in my bedroom...
and a 42" 720p sharp lcd in my living room (that i don't feel like taking a picture of)...
Well set a budget, I'd say a Panasonic plasma for a good price/performance.i would never invest in a Plasma, i would rather get a LED HDTV.[QUOTE="Allicrombie"]its a 32' Samsung 1080p HDTV. I'm tempted to upgrade to something bigger but have no idea what.NVIDIATI
[QUOTE="NVIDIATI"]Well set a budget, I'd say a Panasonic plasma for a good price/performance.i would never invest in a Plasma, i would rather get a LED HDTV. That's why you're doing it wrong. Plasma is superior to LCD and you don't have to worry about things like burn in anymore, that stopped being an issue in 2007.[QUOTE="Allicrombie"]its a 32' Samsung 1080p HDTV. Better contrast, blacks, motion, colour accuracy, price, etc.

picture degrades with time and it is expensive to replalce.[QUOTE="howlrunner13"][QUOTE="jediknight52501"]i would never invest in a Plasma, i would rather get a LED HDTV.jediknight52501

picture degrades with time and it is expensive to replalce. The life of the average plasma is 60,000+ hours. For the price of an LCD that might come close in some aspects you could buy two Plasmas.EXAMPLE:
This $900 Panasonic G25 will have a better picture than this $1800 Sony EX700

Vizio is a good brand. This thread has proven vizio has become the #1 selling TV company. Good lord. :P

i will stick woth my Vizio right now but i will buy another HDTV when i move out and get a palce of my own. Not sure what that had to do with what I was telling you but okay...I also have this TV. It's got a really good picture for such a cheap TV. Only fault is that its sound quality sucks, but I hooked up speakers to it so it's not a big deal.32" Dynex (Best Buy generic) it was cheap and was the biggest I could get to fit my entertainment center at the time. I'll be upgrading in a couple years to a 50" Samsung or something similar.

Vizio is a good brand.jediknight52501I know they are. We own four of them.there are 2 of them in my house. I have 2 as well. I am loving my 47in vizio I got last weekend. I havent even had a real chance to just sit and relax in front of it yet other than some black ops for an hour total and I watched avatar on blu ray.
I bought a 22" Philips 720p last summer for personal use. I just saw that they have 22" LED tvs now, I would have WAY rather got one of them, since Im not a fan of motion blur in my games (FF13 is bad for it). I will likely keep this TV until the bulb fails...I don't care to own a bigger TV anytime soon.
50 inch DLP Toshiba 1080i / its pretty old but the lamp can be replaced so it can always work like new again. However, I really like the LED LCDs I have seen and will probably get one of those soon. I have an LED LCD monitor and it is on a whole other level than my previous LCD one.
