Last thing i watched was
Eden Lake (movie)
Good movie, a bit disturbing but good
solid 7/10 for me

I liked the film quite a bit up until the ending. I absolutely loathedthe ending. It's easily one of the worst endings I've ever seen.

You think that's bad? Look at the Wikipedia summary. I dare you. It's ten times more horrifying than anything in that film.

What's so horrifying about it?
:?
Seriously, though, I've never hated an ending that much.

*Looks it up*
Damn it, somebody with grammatical knowledge edited it!
It was once the worst summary for anything I have ever seen in my life. Long as hell, horrible, horrible description, the use of terms like "Not all is well, however," and just on and on and on. . . . . Funky_Llama saw it, too.

I was completely blown away by this movie. I actually thought American Beauty was gonna be some lame sappy romance movie... But it was actually the complete opposite. It was extremely entertaining from start to finish It has an excellent blend of humor and tragedy, and the film has a good message. This is one of those rare films that almost feels like it gives you something special in return for sitting through two hours.
And then I saw...

No Country for Old Men was a good film. That's about it. I can't say I was blown away by it, or left me a pretty deep lesson like the previous film did. But it was an interesting story throughout and had quite a few moments where it put me at the edge of my seat. It was overall a good film, but it's kinda surprising that it won an Oscar for Best Picture.

I had always heard your entire life flashes in front of your eyes the second before you die. First of all, that one second isn't a second at all, it stretches on forever, like an ocean of time... For me, it was lying on my back at Boy Scout camp, watching falling stars... And yellow leaves, from the maple trees, that lined my street... Or my grandmother's hands, and the way her skin seemed like paper... And the first time I saw my cousin Tony's brand new Firebird... And Janie... And Janie... And... Carolyn. I guess I could be pretty pissed off about what happened to me... but it's hard to stay mad, when there's so much beauty in the world. Sometimes I feel like I'm seeing it all at once, and it's too much, my heart fills up like a balloon that's about to burst... And then I remember to relax, and stop trying to hold on to it, and then it flows through me like rain and I can't feel anything but gratitude for every single moment of my stupid little life... You have no idea what I'm talking about, I'm sure. But don't worry... you will someday.
I love that quote.

Well actually it didnt seem to far fetched to me, i had an ex-marine neighbor who was very religious and next door to him were lesbians, and someone recently cheated on their wife and had there house forclosed on here as well. And a drug dealer up the street. So to me it was enjoyable bc most of the stuff i had seen. People think the suburbs are perfect when the stuff behind closed doors is anything but.[QUOTE="soulfood4"][QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"] It's definitely one of my favorite quotes. The scene that bothered me was when he was looking through the window at his son and Kevin Spacey's character. It seemed like it was set up tooperfectly.

Well, I know what you mean, but it wasn't bad or anything. They at least set up the father to give him a reason to look through his son's window to see what he's up to under suspicion, than just randomly waltzing into his room.
[QUOTE="chessmaster1989"]Final Destination 3 I give it a lol/10sammyjenkis898The only good thing about that film was Mary Elizabeth Winstead.
To be fair, it was fun watching the weird ways the people got killed :P.

Those films are gold when it comes to creative deaths. The third one is the best one, though, the main reason being Mary Elizabeth Winstead..[QUOTE="sammyjenkis898"]
