CheddarLimbo, you are so honest. You are my new best friend!yian

It's the kind of thing I could only ever say to a room of strangers... My wife doesn't even know I did that.

When I was younger (around 12-13), after school I was responsible for my neighbor's daughter who was blind, severley retarded, and wheel-chair bound. I would wait outside her house after school for the bus to drop her off, and then I would let her inside. I'd bring her in, make sure she was okay to go, and then lock up the house until her parents came home. She was very self sufficient, and most times I wouldn't stay with her for very long. But for obvious reasons the parents could not let the bus driver bring her into the house.

So, one day, when we came in, I thought I heard something in the back of the house. I called out, and I heard a door slam. I was scared out of my mind, thinking there was someone in the house, so I panicked and bolted. I left the girl in the freaking house with God knows who while I ran to my house to call the cops.

The house was, in fact, getting robbed at the time, and the burglars went out the back through the back bedroom window. The girl was fine, but she was really scared to be left alone. She was blind, but not deaf, so she knew something was wrong in the house. There was no way I could ever hide what happened, so I didn't even try. Her parents were so angry with me, and I felt like such a coward.

It's probably the thing I'm most ashamed of in my whole life.

If that ever happened to me, I woulda told the parents to **** off. I'm only 13, I'm still trying to get through my life let alone take care of their kid who is severely disabled in multiple ways. If their babies so special, why are they leaving her alone at home anyways? I'd be so pisse if they yelled at me.

Maybe you're misunderstanding the situation - They asked me to do it as a favor, and I agreed to the responsibility. It was something I did for almost two years before this incident. My Dad and her Dad were college friends, and our families were very close. Both of her parents worked full time (her mom was, in fact, a Special Education teacher at a different school), and they weren't able to be home in time to meet the bus. I could have told them I didn't want the responsibility at any time, but they trusted me to do it for them, and I liked having their trust.

I broke into somebody's house a few years back (well, if you call "already open" breaking in). My next door neighbour had "borrowed" some of my games, and was refusing to give them back after a little fall out at a New Years party. One day, as I glanced over the fence dividing the two back yards, I saw his porch door was slightly ajar. I just jumped the fence, ran in, ran upstairs to his room, found my stuff and ran out. Luckily he wasn't in and his parents were too busy having sex downstairs.

-Spock-

Wow, that's awesome, great story. Kudos to you kid.

Okay, mine's kinda brutal/ruthless
Anyways, the worst thing I've done was when I had this stupid little neon necklace (You know, the tube of neon that you crack and it lights up). I had it untied so that it was just like a string. So I tied on end in a knot with a little line left at the end of it. (The opposite side where I was holding it). So then I was hanging out with 2 of my good friends at the time when 4 or 4 of my other friends rode over to us (We were at a park and they came over, not expecting to see us). So the 3 of us (the original group) were walking and we met them at the street (not busy). So we'ere standing there talking for a little bit, when the freak of the group, who just joined them even thought they didn't want to hang w/ him, started talking about how he was like this ninja master. So I said check this out loser and I smacked him in the side of the face with that neon knot thing. The knot cracked/chipped a little of his jaw bone and the little "whip" at the end cut into his cheek and almost lashed his eye. He started t cry and he rode home. I kinda felt bad because all he wanted to do was hang out with someone, but looking back on it, I'll laugh.

If the mother was a special ed teacher, why couldn't the kid go to her class? What happened after, did they never trust you, never forgive you, or what? What happened?

Firstly, there needs to be more content in the opening post. Just posting "topic" is disruptive. Secondly, if you've engaged in illegal activities, especially those involving drugs, we don't want to hear about it. See the Terms of Use and the section on "illegal activities."
