i ref'd soccer for little kids when i was in like 7th and 8th grade.. the coaches and parents were ---bags..

my first hourly job was as a checker at a grocery store.. that job sucked hard. the customers were always jerks. weekends were nightmares where the place would be mobbed, the line would just be cart after cart after cart of huge orders.. the stupid customers would never bag their own stuff.. they'd just stand there and watch as i bagged each item, then decide that they wanted paper-in plastic instead of just plastic bags..

then i'd get the idiots who don't understand the concept that a coupon has an expiration date on them and that they're need to be used for the item they actually purchase not a similar item but a different brand ( using a pepsi coupon to buy coca cola ) yet somehow it is my fault they're stupid and can't read a coupon. or it's my fault that an item isn't in the computer system that the registers are tied to and i have to go check to see how much an item costs...

plus i was forced to join the united food and commerical workers union so they could jack money from my paycheck each month... like a frigign' 16 year old needs a union to protect his precious checker job...

the only time i enjoyed it was when i got to do returns and basically wander the aisles with a cart of items people returned or decided at the register they didn't want so that i could restock them.. i took my sweet time doing that since it kept me from having to deal with idiot customers for a while.

I worked at a grocery store 30 hours a week... My schedule sucked because it was never the same. Everyday was the same crap, HI HOW ARE YOU?! And i just stand there and bag groceries and help people out. They also didn't want us to accept tips, but ofcourse I did so anyway.

I don't know if it counts but I used to deliver fliers a few years ago. I hated everything about it. Bad pay, it's not worth freezing you're fingers off for a few bucks. If that doesn't count then my first job would be McDonald's. I still work there, but only in the back which isn't so bad. I swear people just come in to piss you off. Who the hell orders 15 double cheeseburgers??

I got to work at my mom's hospital when I was in high school, typing up procedure manuals for them and getting paid nicely. There wasn't a thing I hated about it. All the people my mom worked with liked me, and there was a bed in the office that I worked out of. Often if I got drowsy I would lie down and watch the 3d Maze screen saver. One time my boss walked in on me lying down and kindly asked me I she wanted me to turn out the lights. Too bad it was only a summer gig.
