Obviously, most people will probably say 'Sopranos'
But, my personal fav is either Entourage or Big Love

Rome, followed closely by Deadwood.
As long as we pretend season three of Deadwood doesn't exist.

The only thing that bothered me about Deadwood was how disjointed it was...you could tell they wrote it episode by episode with no real concern for an overall story arc. The third season just came across like they knew it would be the last one (which it was), and I didn't like some of the choices they made. It's not bad, just not what I wanted. It's still a great show, though. Rome has a better flow between episodes, which is why I prefer it, but there's definitely something alluring about Deadwood, and Ian McShane's overuse of cursing doesn't hurt either. The Sopranos. That and Seinfeld are probably the greatest shows to ever grace television. jfcundiff
I'm in 90% agreement with you. But, I hated the last 6 episodes of Sopranos. It seemed like that they drug-on forever.

I've recorded their first episode to their last. If they keep up the superior writing, acting, scripting and all, this will definitely be one of my fav's. I mean, who doesn't like Bill?
Curb Your Enthusiam and Flight of the Concords. I wonder if they'll make a new season for Curb though. CleanPlayer
they just recently confirmed a 7th!

That's a relief, I miss the Blacks!Six Feet Under has to be my favorite series of all time, it was fantastic. Also Oz' was pretty good to (if you don't mind the sexuality of course)mexicangordoI was wondering if anyone was gonna say SFU. I havent watched many HBO series though. But SFU is awesome. The ending almost made me cry. But I was able to hold the tears back :( :) I've also watched some of the sopranos its interesting and a good show it seems. just kinda missed out on it. and to the people who haven't seen SFU, which it seems alot of people unless its just very very underrated because no one every meantions it. then watch it!
I held the tears back during Nate's funeral, but once Clare pulled out of the driveway in the finale, I just let go.
Anyway, my favourite HBO show is The Wire. Six Feet Under comes second, but both The Sopranos and Deadwood are brilliant.
Probably easily Band of Brothers. Just very well put together.ice_radonJesus Christ, about time someone said BoB
