Night was really good; holocaust books are really engaging, but always leave me depressed for weeks.

The books we're reading now are so depressing one kid said that he's surprised he hasn't killed himself after reading both in one week.

But yeah, although we weren't required to read it, Night was great.

Candide

Romeo & Juliet

The Great Gatsby and Great Expectations are two of the most overrated books in the history of history.

I didn't have a favorite book, but the ones I was able to tolerate the most were The Scarlet Letter, The Great Gatsby, Wuthering Heights, Always Running and Native Son.

I don't remember any I enjoyed. Each book was incredibly dull and lifeless. :(

Huck Finn and Animal Farm. But I had read Huck Finn long before I was assigned it.
