[QUOTE="Jandurin"][QUOTE="awesomeray"]whenever i adjust the sound quickly i get this weird soundawesomerayfrom your speakers or your actual computer? the speakers @harashawn: when i put my headphones in i still get the same sound out of the headphones like a popping sound or what?
Everything, I love and hate computers  I suppose the most recent one was where my motherboard failed so it went into the repair shop for a new one. Then I wanted a graphics card (that's right, not a new one, just one!) and the one I bought online was faulty but I didn't know that so I spent months trying different things to get it to work, including buying a bigger power supply. Then I gave up and took it to the repair shop where they said it was faulty and put in a new graphics card and 2gb of ram so L4D would work.
Then on my first night of playing my computer overheated and switched off - my fan system was too passive and was circulating heat so I took it back in and they installed a better fan system. All in all it took me about 4 months to sort out and 275 quid. That reminds me, I need to give Hero a good kick up the arse to send the faulty graphics card back as it's still sat on his coffee table o_O
Hmmm...either when Windows kept crashing forcing me to reformat the hard drive...or when it was making this horrible high pitched beeping/whistling noise every time I turned it on...sorted both problems out easily enough when I put my mind to not being lazy about fixing it, lol.
trying to install SySi development environment to program an AVR Microcontroller...I eventually got it to work and now it wont install on my laptop...GAHH
I had that happen. Though it was with my DLP tv. And it was the colorwheel that broke into a million pieces. That was an interesting thing to fix :)having a disk drop into the pc xD it broke (into eight pieces as i remember xD) so had to take the computer apart

My current problem is that there's no Windows C++ compiler that actually works.NBSRDan... I'm pretty sure that you are mistaken (since I did some Windows builds yesterday and this morning that included C++ components :P)
My most frustrating problem...well, nothing really. I have the intelligence, resources, and common sense to accurately troubleshoot problems before they become frustrating.FragStainsQuit kidding yourself. Everyone knows that when Windows OS is involved, intelligence, resources, and common sense all go to hell.
