I was there, I was on the roof. That was back when I was going through my parchauting off of tall buildings phase. I was skeptical at first but once the plane hitI was like "Lucky for me I brought this here parachute." So I was like " Ah Woob woob woob woob.Woob... woob...woob...woob.
No, I was working.
I had was in grade 4 at the time. I used to always sneak downstairs and play on the computer. When I loaded up Internet Explorer, our home page was set to some Telus news page where I saw a picture of a plane hitting one of the towers. At the time, I didn't think much of it (I'm from BC and I was young). When I got to school, the teachers told us what happened.

I was19 when I first heard it. I heard it during work on one of the many T.Vs all over the store. I didn't care either. I didn't care,it was only a matter of time. until someone crazy enough put two and two together.
wow, i was in sixth grade in science class. kids kept getting called out and when about 3/4 of my class was gone, the principle annouced that every student still in school has to go straight home, or get in contact with their parents, he didnt tell us what was happening so i found out when i got home around 3.
I'm surprised by the response from the people not in America I didn't really think it was a world wide worry.Fightingfan
I'm in Germany and i still remember that day perfectly, it was raining all day, i was at the doctor when i got a text message from a friend saying "The white house is on fire" (I don't know why she thought the white house was on fire, probably texted me right after she saw something happening on TV)
I remember some people there watching TV, i didn't realize what happened then.
But when i got home i switched on the TV and was shocked at the footage of the planes hitting the towers and the towers collapsing. I was shocked and sad.
I was homeschooled at the time and was doing my Spelling homework when my mom came in while on the phone and turned the tv station to a news channel.
I was a Freshman in high school. Kinda just drifted through the day watching the news the whole time. Hugged my girlfriend and such.
that's strikingly similar to what happened for me...at work, it was hard to get more info as the web was so slow.driving to work. heard it on the radio and when i got into my office tried to look up more info on the news but new websites were pretty much getting slammed so they were crazy slow. eventually my boss got a pic of the north tower with a huge hole in it and we found out it wasn't a small little plane that hit it. spent the rest of the day at work basically just trying to get news info. at one point they turned on some tv's they had around our offices on and we saw the 2nd tower collapse live. evening was spend ( obviously ) just watching more news coverage.

I was in art class in the 8th grade, until I heard my teacher saying "Oh my God, we were attacked, that's horrible", really loud and then the other students started to hear the tragic news.
My mom woke me up and told me that the WTC was attacked. I thought she was joking. But alas, to my great sorrow, it was real.
Playing PLAYSTATION :P Also,i hated watching news so i NEVER knew it until a Movie came out it for it (about the Firemen stuck under the building).Sorry guys... :(Ratchet_Fan8so in 2006? Yikes.
I was being driven to school listening to local news on the radio and they made the announcement. Didn't hear anything more until 2nd and 3rd period when my teacher let us watch what was happening on TV. Was in 8th grade when it happened.
I was walking into my sophomore American history class when the teacher (Mr. Boody haha) looked at us all solemnly and said America is under attack, follow me. We then went to a t.v.in the hallway where a few classes were watching the news of it for a couple hours until the principal made us turn it off.
