What will you watch on September 8th - Obama's speech or the NFL game?

I already have a pretty good idea about the outcome of one of those broadcasts, so I'll be watching the ball game.

Neither. I have absolutely no interest in listening to some bloviating politician talk about how he'll solve all our problems and everything bad is somebody else's fault. Heard that nonsense a thousand times before - it's all any politician ever says.

Not too interested in the football game. I used to watch a lot of football, but they pack so damned many commercials into the games these days I can't stand it any more.

I'm just thinking..... this is supposed to be IT. This is supposed to be THE plan. So, why wait at all? Why not ask for this joint session (if he feels that is necessary) to be held as soon as possible (within the next few days). If he has THE solution, why sit on it?
