I'm sure its a commonly thought up scenario, but I'm curious

What would be your reaction if on your 18th birthday it was revealed to you by your parents that your Mother was really your Father post-op, and your Father was your Mother post-op?

Essentially, what they did, was birthed you, and then had sex changes one at a time after your birth before you were of age to remember any of it.

I really can't say what my reaction would be. I imagine if anything a strong mix of shock, confusion, and a sudden feeling of distance. I'd probably feel like I knew absolutely nothing about my parents anymore, at least for a while.

I would just call my mom=dad and my dad=mom. Therefore I psychologically don't suffer.

I would be a little angry that they kept it a secret for such a long time. I've never heard of a relationship where both persons were transexuals, so I'd ask them some questions (not just sexual ones, by the way).

I didn't know that it was possible nowadays to go 18 years without seeing childhood pictures of your parents.

Well, I'd wonder how mom got those pictures of her as a kid, same with dad. But otherwise, no real issue. However, I would be a bit concerned that it has a hereditary component, given the odds and all that.

Would want to know what the f*** was going on because this would be about something much much more then gender reassignment. This would include an array of faked photos and a large interconnected group of actors and planners to do it. Fake stories and fake proof including but not limited to past boyfriends/girlfriends , friends , birth certificates , videos , family. The large amount of family and family friends would have to be faked and not really have done any of the f***ing stuff they said they did. Perhaps they were not even part of my parents past but hired after my birth because they were involved with something rather large that is much bigger then I could f***ing ever imagine that I was a part of. Like finding out Canada was f***ing nuked to hell in the 50's and now a wasteland.

Actually, I regret to inform you that Canada and most of the northern USA was indeed "nuked to hell" in the great Maplecaust of '56. It was the first and only successful transfusion of nuclear energy and maple syrup, and it nearly destroyed the entire continent. The "sideways"/alternate reality world in the last season of LOST was based on the effect it had on all Canadians and northern Americans who are stuck in a state of limbo. Luckily, maple syrup still exists.
