Barricade myself in the local Wal-Mart because it has all the supplies you will need. Of course, many people would probably have the same idea so I would probably have to do some killing...other then zombies.

Are you a depressed polar bear? I would be too especially with the ice caps melting :( Its not just that man, you wouldn't believe the amount of discrimination in modern society. I can't even get a job, every time I go into the interview they all run out screaming then I get tranquilized.
Every quiz I've taken says I'd be good for a while, so First I'd grab my already prepacked zombie survival kit, take a car and drive out into the mountains (Which is like the country where i live :P)

First order of business is moving to the nearest store and stocking up on food and supplies. Next would be to capture a Zombie and figure out a way to become invisible among their masses. Try all type of experiments (See what gives the zombie the impulse to attack people. Perhaps its the warmth of our bodies. Or other reasons....). That way, if I step out, I wouldn't have to worry too much about fearing zombies and wasting ammunition on them..... If the experiments fail, fortify the house I'm living in so I don't have to worry about scavengers or zombies....

So your answer is "Roll into a fetal position and wait for the nearest horde to find me"? Thats no fun, if you're gonna die in a zombie apocalypse, at least do some looting.
I would head for a tall building, but because I live in a small town on the shore, I would just get a ride on a boat with a bunch of food and wait until it all clears up. I just hope zombies can't operate boats.
Fortify my house, ask my neighbors to come and stay at my house and bring food and supplies, charge all electronics before the electricity goes out, fill up all containers with water before the water is not drinkable, then wait the zombie apocalypse out.
Bunker down and wait for winter (which is usually around late October for us, though it could start as late as mid-November). Foray out occasionally for food and fuel. When winter hits, and the zombies freeze (since they're dead, they won't be generating enough body heat to keep from freezing solid) clean up the zombies around yard, maybe out to a 1 mile radius, then rearm and resupply.
It wouldn't happen, and I dont mean that in a "Derpy Derp zombies aren't real" sort of way, I mean that any decently equipped military would easily contain a zombie threat before it would do any real damage. It wouldn't take them 1000 bullets or thousands of deaths to realize"Hey we should shoot them in the head" the human race isn't that incompetent.

Military bases aren't as safe as you're suggesting. Many military families live on-base (or at least overseas), and not even half of the people working/living on the base have guns. If you were talking about an army base, that might be different, but if you go to an Air Force, Marines, or Navy base, you're sure to get bit by zombie children.

considering they can't open simple barricades, I would just stock up lots of food and water and be set.
I'd hop in my car and head out to the country - I imagine zombies would be far less common out there. Maybe some farm family would take me in? I'm a good worker and a fairly good shot. A farm would be nice because it's somewhat self-sufficient.
