Military bases aren't as safe as you're suggesting. Many military families live on-base (or at least overseas), and not even half of the people working/living on the base have guns. If you were talking about an army base, that might be different, but if you go to an Air Force, Marines, or Navy base, you're sure to get bit by zombie children. NiKva

*shrug* Nor do I actually expect over half of personell working at a miltary base to have guns. If they did, it would quite frankly be surprising. Bases are however(along with people) are capable of adapting to a situation and should the need arrive, they could just simply make a trip to the armory to grab weapons. Besides, the military base that is closest to me has living areas for military personell seperate enough from the base to make an easy distinction, its not likely i'll run into it. Also, even assuming that zombies do actually rise out of the miltary area and actually do attack the base(big if) it is highly unlikely they'll be run over.

I would have one of those chainmail suits that are used for shark diving (very light and very strong stuff), a small caliber pistol (only for extremely close range, will likely see no use) a rifle of some kind- probably an ak-74 (due to its durability and improved accuracy over the original 47) or a .22 because it is pretty accurate, ammo is light and you can find it everywhere. Last but not least, an actual katana made in Japan, the bestweapon to have for a zombie apoclypse- blades don't need reloading.

I would want a bike, not a car because they are louder and will run out of gas. I would go to a very remote area miles away from any populated city and one which has a clear vantage point over the surrounding area. From that point on, just survive (I have little survival knowledge, but this is an ideal scenario and I would be an expert) by hunting and gathering.

Anyone who wants a chainsaw will die within the first few days

A few miles from my house there is a Costco, Home Depot, and Meijer within 100 feet of each other so I would hide there.

Dude and Zombies is one of the best zombie-themed Flash games I've seen for quite a while.
