If I suspected she thought and I wasn't (I happen to be straight myself), I'd probably ask if its true she thinks that, with a tone muddle with some disbelief and being offended. Not enough to make them sad, but justenough to make her feel a little foolish when I correct her.

If she thinks it, she thinks it. Won't change a thing for me.

i remember my mom had a serious conversation with me because she over heard my friend joking about me having a boyfriend. i told her no they joke that way and she was relieved. i dont get why guys think acting gay is funny. wonder if gay people act straight with their friends to be funnyplaymynutz

I sometimes do. It's more of an inside joke though.

My mom did think I was a lesbian for a bit. I told her I was straight, she seemed to believe me, whatever.
